Netflix queue: Hysteria and Resident Evil: Retribution. Hysteria was okay. RE was alternately unintentionally hilarious and boring.  The first 15 minutes is a combination of fake beginnings and Milla Jovovich looking into camera as she recaps all of the past 4-6 (I lost count) movies. They came up with a non-sensical

In all likelihood, there are deleted/unfilmed scenes that flesh those parts out. But I choose to believe that all of the non-payoffs are intentional.

There's so much to like about Django, I'm only going to mention my favorite parts that probably won't get mentioned elsewhere.

I think Schultz's act makes perfect sense and is entirely within his character. Candie's pretense of culture and civility are deeply insulting to Schultz. Maybe, but I don't think it was someone in character. I could've sworn it was Peretti. There was also a bit about communism or something in there.

Is the Parks and Rec episode Scottabot discusses here the same one where he tried to do a 'No, But' game, which Peretti shut down with a callback? Because that's one of my favorite CBB moments of all time.

Marissa Wompler's first appearance is definitely a top 10 for me. Probably top 3.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who considers Daly's suicide parade of characters (who all attempt suicide by jumping out of a first floor window) to be one of the best moments of CBB.

The part where they all try to corner each other into improvising a limerick is one of my favorite meta/anti-comedy bits of all time.

I'll have to rewatch, but I don't think Mickey was in on it at all. The plan seemed very ad hoc.
