The approximately one episode where the two Astrids hung out was excellent! It's too bad that didn't happen more often.

I think this episode works pretty well with the high school one, and maybe even explains Dean's mindset in that episode a bit. What did you think was wrong with it?
I liked the MOTW just because it seems like the boys haven't hunted a relatively straightforward ghost for several seasons. This episode made them look a lot weaker than they have lately, but I think that's a good thing. The villain escalation has been getting ridiculous.
@avclub-3cd5b730d6b4c1521b7a7cfad50d7745:disqus Not always. Jimmy Novak seemed fine in the episode where Castiel briefly left his body, and recurring characters at least seem to be able to survive demonic possession.
…except for the three characters who merit multiple resurrections apiece. Although I'm not certain that actually counts as "surviving".
Usually they only hug immediately before or after one of them dies. They might have done it more often in recent seasons though.
As far as I'm concerned, Season 6 completely justified its existence with "The French Mistake" alone. But 7 and 8 and certainly better when considered as a complete season.
I just assumed he had gotten out after the soul thing, or the Leviathan thing, or one of the two or three times Cas has died and been resurrected.
I thought the same thing. Maybe it's something Cas has picked up from Dean.
Cas is really, really bad at helping people. On a related note, I kinda think Jimmy's dead.
I don't think Supernatural ever achieves the same level of quality as those shows' best episodes, but it's well worth a watch. Seasons 4 and 5 are especially good, and the meta episodes are just beautiful.
But where did the vessels go? Is it the same as killing demons where Dean just doesn't care at all about the people being possessed anymore? That always bugged me.
Basically. Pronunciation Book did get slightly weirder over time, but it was never absurdly humorous.
Nope, Pronunciation Book, which is what Pronunciation Manual was originally parodying.
You're not alone.
Gotta love that the Ghostfacers are now the longest-lived recurring characters. They first showed up in Season 1.
Well yeah, there are still regular spoilers for books 4 and 5. This was a big one though.
I don't think anyone's trying to point fingers. I'm just excited that everyone's on the same page after years of keeping this a secret.
Nah, Edmure's the lord of Riverrun, they want to use him to gain control of the Riverlands.
3) Ideally, Cap's in Russia.
