Yes.

Thanks this is my favorite joke of the day, I don't even care if it's true or not. Peep Show is very funny, but I would say that the IT Crowd was better.

I think that might be the more popular opinion around here. Among critics I find a lot of them preferring The Office I think, but I could be wrong.

Wow I think this is my favorite one ever.

I started to get that impression as well. For one thing, the write-ups seem to contain an inordinate amount of background information instead of analyses of the songs. My theory is that most of article was written by a screen-scrape macro that scans wikipedia pages, then beefed up with some mad-libs opinions like you

But in his offense, it is also:

He really gets absolutely everything wrong about this song.

I THINK A 40 YEAR OLD DATING A 25 YEAR OLD IS CREEPY!

I'm not 100% on the first four Beatles albums so I had to actually to "No Reply" just now.

I just read his quote about that. It makes perfect sense that he would hate it, because he claims he was just trying to write a normal catchy song, but somehow accidentally wrote a song about a serial killer.

It's also funny because their early fandom is so often characterized by crowds of screaming girls. I do worry a little how those fans reacted when the last track of Rubber Soul came on, but it seems like this sort of thing would've just been treated as a joke back then. There are a lot of weird creepy doo-wop songs

I'm going to defend Marah Eakin here, not only to balance the scales a little bit, but also because this song is terrible.

I don't even really like FPS, mostly because I suck at them, but Goldeneye was one of the most entertaining games ever. Classic multi-player mode, with single-player mode being equally worth your time.

I wouldn't call myself a "gamer" but I do partake and it is good to see that Sonic and FIFA were nominated at least, as those would be my top 2 (assuming the whole video game franchise is taken into account, not just specific versions).

Marah Eakin sort of gives me a "Nancy Grace interviewing William Shakespeare" kind of vibe:

I don't even agree with you, but I'm sort of moved by your vigor. I love the White Album but I have a pretty specific song-skipping routine for it, mainly because I've heard the album and now just want to enjoy myself listening to it. Tracks 3-5 just destroy any of the momentum from the first two that I will not have

Except for yesterday's, which was fine? It's okay that the want to get a debate going, but a lot of it just seems lazy and uninspired on their end.

I'm totally with you there. I really just fucking hate the song, however meaningful its lyrics might be. But sadly it seems that even I agree with these selections, they managed to be idiots about it.

Yea I kind of have a mix of all your guys reactions to it. It's not one of those scary songs that gets me really pumped like "Midnight Rambler" or "Psycho Killer." It's more like "uuuhhhh well this is….interesting…"

Every time I hear Don Henley, I like to imagine that I am sticking his head in a bowl of acid.
