Came here to include Skee-Lo, glad someone else beat me to it.

    Schrödinger's vault.

Bill's appearance has switched me from being bored at how Capaldi was being wasted, to being sad this is his last season. As for the Vault, we all think the Master (or Mistress) is in there, right? Right?

Constantine wasn't a failure as a show, it was a failure on the part of the network by making it stick to the USA and by lack of promotion. Discuss.

Yeah, my dinner guest was raised in Vancouver and flat out told me she grew up eating enough salmon for three lifetimes… should have noted that as my reason for seeking another kind of fish I could sous vide, that would end up with a nice, thick, buttery flesh.

Since it's on topic: looking for a good fatty fish replacement for sablefish/black cod for a sous vide. Any ideas?

Meh, the song isn't better or worse than most actors' efforts. Still, I get the feeling he'd screw his sister for a slice of cheese.

And that's the thing: if this Trek movie gets the studio excited enough for a good, serialized Trek with (hopefully) thought-provoking stories - I'm all in.

Robert Justman, who helped with TOS was brought in for development on TNG. According to some books on the subject, he wanted a Klingon on board and Gene hated the idea. As well, he shared a story about how the captain should be vital and not 'that older bald guy' - Patrick Stewart auditioned in a hastily shipped

According to a ton of material at the time, most of what worked on TNG went against what Gene wanted, such as an aging captain or a Klingon officer. He was only given solo 'creator' credit because the studio didn't want to piss off the fandom.

A first generation Trekkie, I still find it funny how people go on about how Trek is supposed to be cerebral and a reflection of issues in our society. Roddenberry spent many years with 60's & 70's flower children, like my parents, convincing them that he has seen a better future and that's what Trek should be about.

Yeah, it was a bit jarring how fast she went from "The love of my life died in a huge accident 6 months ago and… well hellooooo Mr. Earth-2 Fancypants!"

Is anyone else annoyed with Joe's dismissal of Patty after shooting Wells2? She was shaken, confused and he shouts "Get out of here!" which is likely going to lead to a stupid future plot thread where she runs off/in front of a giant gorilla and dies. How hard would have it been for the writers to just throw in a "I

Leafing through the $3 vinyl bins found a copy of Elton John's Captain Fantastic & the Brown Dirt Cowboy with illustrated lyrics. So odd-looking, I had to have it. http://www.hypergallery.com…

    More like Rob Van Dayammm

I am good with one major 'magical' set piece per episode if they have the impact and relevance to the narrative that the sand horse scene carried. Adding more just to add more would take from characterization and necessary world building — I would have, for example, preferred a few more dots connecting Strange from

…the steering wheel is a spoon and you're in a jam.

Isn't Spielberg's name on a TV show the kiss of death yet?
