I got a very pleasant brain tingle when I realized Brubaker's Criminal: Last of the Innocent was a thinly disguised Riverdale universe. I loved loved loved this series. One of those gems that I pushed onto many friends.

Season 2 is just so head-and-shoulders above the other seasons…I'd rank Season 2 of Chuck up there with my all-time favorite seasons of TV. Consistently excellent, and peaked in the stretch run.

This was the year I finally got into Sloan. "The Double Cross" was a great introduction…I quickly devoured their entire discography.

Have One on Me is excellent as well.

An admittedly mediocre finale, but I have no complaints. I'm not sure why I expect so little out of this show, but the problems don't bother me.

I rarely see movies in 3D, but from the studio's perspective, it makes complete sense to make every blockbuster 3D.

Having seen both Homeland & Strike Back, watch Strike Back first. I'm in the camp that Homeland needed to stick their landing/ending and flubbed it.

Strike Back is utterly fantastic. I wouldn't have found it without a friend's strong recommendation, and I'm hoping to pay it forward. Made its way into my top 5 shows of the year.

Anybody here watch Strike Back?

No love for Strike Back? Better than 90% of the action movies I see.

I'm glad my expectations for the finale were pretty low, otherwise I'd be more upset. Sticking the ending is important, the most important part of the story. And they flubbed it pretty badly.
This has been a pretty dreadful year for new TV shows. 'Game of Thrones', 'Happy Endings', and 'Strike Back' are the only ones

"There was race, there was sex, there was drugs, sports, everything."
Love this show, love Stu, love the Boss, love HBO for bringing it back when they really had no reason to.

I also really hate "mole" subplots, esp. when you're dealing with time-sensitive information that should really narrow down the list of suspects.

Damian Lewis was on Jimmy Fallon last week. He said a few members of the cast/crew had put together a band called "Yummy Yummy Yummy" and that it was a reference to the upcoming episode.

I'd put Venture Bros. and Seinfeld on the same level as those three.

I liked last week's inclusion of 15-year old Ted to explain the pact of never turning down a hook-up.

So…how many other people saw them at the Aragon two weeks ago?

I've never looked forward to a movie more than Matrix Reloaded.

That "Indian starlet bitch" is Vijayashanti. She was huge in the late 80's - early 90's, now she's a politician who's a leader of a separatist movement (Telangana).

My favorite part of these two episodes:
