The Gary/Caroline chapter is one of my favorite sections in any book, ever.

BSG is overlooked because it had one of the fastest descents in quality seen in a TV program. Right after the New Caprica arc in early Season 3, the show takes a sharp nosedive and becomes near unwatchable. And it continues to get worse, culminating in an all-time bad series finale.
