I handled my own parents' separation better than this one.

I have no idea how they get Jake into a place where he'll be fighting with Matty for Jenna's affections.  This episode ended with it being pretty much a given that Jake wants nothing to do with either Jenna or Matty.

I think with the speed the show moves, we're to believe that Matty's moved on to a degree, although I agree that that doesn't seem likely.  Though I think there's an interesting chance to have Matty feel guilty about trying to break up Jake and Jenna in the first place - never in his sabotage attempts did he consider

I used to watch old Family Feud episodes with Richard Dawson hosting and thought he was kinda rape-y with the way he went after the ladies.

I went to Edward R. Murrow HS, and we worshiped all things Beastie.  Too young to leave us but what a legacy to keep with us.

I respect that he had to cut the call short in order to keep the cell phone charge short.  I have family in England and it's expensive when they call my cell.

Sounds a lot to me like they both need to put their big boy pants on and stop being jerks to one another.  You don't air your dirty laundry for everyone to see and get surprised when folks think you acted in poor taste (Harmon.)  And you somehow learn to live with a basic fact of life that many of us do, which is this
