I'm hoping with every fiber of my being that with Doom and Wolfenstein successfully rebooted, they'll do the original Quake next. It might be a longshot, but several articles have been written about a bunch of maybe Quake-related job openings popping up at Id software, so we might be in luck!

I really like that guy, he's like a shining beacon in the sea of shit that is game criticism (This site's pretty good too).

I was actually tapped to say some stuff for that announcement video, a little sad the thing ended up being all Henry but at the same time he's pretty much the perfect guy for the job. He nailed it.

The line "uh, I know it was just a fart, but I couldn't have done it without you," is one of my favorite things.

BABY LOOK PRETTY NOW, MUMMY? BABY LOOK… PRETTY… NOW?

As do his later works.

[Snide comment about band name here]

The thing about Gary Numan, right, not only is he a popstar, but he's got a pilot's license!

(Car Seat Headrest aren't based out of portland, and they are a "band" with four members)

We're talkin', like, heavy shit.

That is something sad about the Beach Boys discography to me, I feel like Pet Sounds was their last "album" album, and most of what followed were these weird, sporadic collections of random songs that never quite felt they had a connecting thread.

Valve's voice casting/writing in general is so consistently pitch-perfect, I know the Portal characters are usually everyone's favorites but just about every Valve game nails it. Even the CS:GO voices are really well done.

I always got a slight Adam West vibe from his performance as Garrett and I absolutely loved it.

After all this time I think I still have a massive soft spot for Roger Jackson's Chesire Cat from American McGee's Alice. A lot of his dialogue was borderline nonsense, but he managed to make every line intriguing and sinister and weirdly meaningful.

I'm still interested in the prospect of a game set in WW1, since it's such a rarely visited setting, but that dubsteppin' BF1 trailer really put me off.

I think Brothers In Arms: Road to Hill 30 is the best example I know of a game about violence that doesn't make it seem "cool", but is still really fun to play.

Anope, and I think I'll keep it that way.

The whole Stan-Gaad relationship seemed to have weird shifts, like they'd keep setting up "last straw" scenarios only to have them be chummy a week later.

Alas, all we got was Roger ass.
