3D and video games
Roger Ebert is rolling over in his grave.

The plot to Constantine wasn't hunting down God.

Bold Prediction
The christians protesting this thing will cow the studio into watering it down to something only fans will see and nobody will enjoy.

I'm suddenly struck with the need to own an AV Club pint glass
and I have NO IDEA WHY!

MACRO
bioteeks!

Ebert
I now look forward to Roger's impassioned 2000 word blog entries on how 3-D is now fascistic in addition to being dim and blurry and unnatural, followed by thousands and thousands of comments about what an inspiration he is.

Peter Weller
He's the greatest fellow-University of North Texas alum next to Joe Don Baker. Dr. Phil is the worst.

I wonder what the comments will be when all the "Marion Cotillard would be PERFECT as Talia al Ghul" people see her get the Gwen Stacy treatment.

Three villains, including two love interests
I'm glad to see the lessons of Spider-Man 3 were taken to heart.

Tarsem doing Hellblazer?
Fuck, I never knew that. Now I'm longing for a film I never even knew was a possibility until right now. What a waste.

@mcc: I don't think Claypool hates all of the Brown Album anymore. When I saw Primus last summer he played Duchess, Golden Boy, and Over the Falls. His hate now seems reserved solely for Antipop.

Primus is in the middle of recording their first full-length since Antipop in 1999, the one that led to their lengthy hiatus and is probably their worst album (though The Ballad of Bodacious owns). No Fred Durst-produced songs instead of one sounds like a step in the right direction.

I don't remember exactly but I think they were right after she escaped her zombie husband/neighborhood in a car and crashed. Once the credits are over she wakes up to Ving Rhames holding a shotgun to her head. I'm sure a quick Google search could jog your memory.

Zack Snyder
I don't hate the guy's work like a lot of other people but he blew his load pretty early by having the opening credits for Watchmen and Dawn of the Dead be far and away the best sequence of both films. I guess Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan helped too.

I'm convinced Timothy Spall was born to play Haymitch.

At least Bill Murray supposedly thought Garfield was written by a Coen brother
I wonder what Dan Akroyd's excuse is.

Apted
Screw this shit, it's almost time for 56 Up! I hope Neil and Bruce are doing well.

Don't know if these have been mentioned
Les Claypool (solo group)
Jay-Z (festival setup)
Tim Fite
Rebirth Brass Band
Zappa Plays Zappa
Rodrigo y Gabriela
Jimmy Cliff

I got to see their UFO show in '07. The spaceship was so epic that each subsequent show, while still a crazy positive acid trip, has paled in comparison.
