I thought for the longest time that all the bad stuff people said about him was just made up, but then I saw Overnight, and dear god, I never felt like punching anyone at any point of my life until I saw Duffy. The ego on him would rival Tommy Wiseau if it weren't for the fact that Wiseau has a stupid innocence to…
I can't tell if you really were an extra in Poltergeist II or if you got captured by Candlejack.
I'm glad they made the Chowder more special than D.J. or Jenny. They have great interactions between the 3, but he is the highlight.
I just love how much it reminded me of "Amazing Stories". It feels like an episode of that show, it's fun and exciting and scary, but it's for a family audience. It's pretty awesome.
I think the Zemeckis movies looked bad (for the record, I'm playing devil's advocate because I liked Polar Express and Christmas Carol) because he's striving to hit whatever is the best technology Of It's Time and he's trying to make it look too realistic. If you have time, look at Xbox 360 games or PS3 games trying…
Also to note: Kevin James is in this, as is Nick Cannon, and shockingly, they do
better than expected. Also, Kathleen Turner is the voice of the Monster
House, or at least the human form of her.
I loved this movie when I saw it some years ago. I was about 16. I still love quoting one of the funnier lines from the movie:
His name! His name! We Threw out his name!
Do you know how many people have nearly Killed me because I said that Up never got better than the first 10 minutes? Too many to count. It's a good movie, but I thought Wall-E was better. The single positive about Up that maybe helps it out is that as I get older, that beginning becomes more poignant, and the ending…
You've got your pints; You've got your pig snacks; What more do you want? Shall I do your favorite monkey? Shall I do Clyde?
I think Ronnie James Dio was supposed to be Doviculus, but because of the conflict with Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne appeared in the game, he wouldn't do it, so we got Tim Curry. I find it disheartening that that made all the difference, but damn, a Brutal Legend 2 with Dio… I feel my heart breaking just thinking…
I remember the Dirty Harry game was going to actually have Clint Eastwood and Gene Hackman, but was cancelled. Sadly, it was one of the games I wanted to have for the PS3, but it's okay, we technically got a great sim of Clint Eastwood movies with Red Dead Redemption and it settled any qualms I had.
I'll throw in Chrono Resurrection, which was a fanmade 3D remake of Chrono Trigger, it looked like Dragon Quest 8 (Oh God, Akira Toriyama's art looked so beautiful).
I believe "New N' Tasty" just came out on PS3 here recently as well. As an fan of Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee, I'm dying to buy it, but I can't afford it right now or else I'd experience that wonderful game in HD!
There was an Earthbound 3 that's only released in Japan, but you can still play the game, translated into English online, that's what Earthbound 64 was supposed to be. I haven't played it because I want to play it legally, but it's on my list.
I actually complained about this show yesterday, it was for those kids who wanted to like "Tony Hawk Pro Skater" but weren't allowed to experience any part of it, so they made a show about the sports, but it's boring instead.
I did the same thing with a little kid wanting to watch "Wreck it Ralph" over "The Neverending Story". I am going to Wreck it, indeed. I salute your "Fuck you", sir.
It's the evolved form of CancerAIDS when it reaches Level 22.
I used to babysit a young boy whose mom hated Casper's Scare School (I wasn't entirely convinced she didn't write the article condemning it, she has a sense of humor akin to AVC), her young son loved the show. Personally, it reminded me of the other Casper CGI show back on Fox Family (Now ABC Family) that looked awful…
