I was willing to work with the cliches there were because the movie was honestly the funniest thing I had seen at that point and I also had moved out on my own, so it resonated strongly with me at that point in my life.

For my money, the best episode of 2016 has been The Last Witch Hunter with Vin Diesel. It has Michael Caine impressions, a reference to the villian looking like a member of Iron and Wine, Ghostbusters references in which they switch every use of Ghosts or Slime to Bees, and an incredible reference to Bebe's Kids. I…
Eric's knowledge of the German language and his accents are quite impressive.
My favorite line that Steve uses is that the President bungles something "due to extreme hot dog negligence", It cracks me up!
Freddy's Revenge is the dark horse of that entire series, and while it doesn't always work in all the homosexual contexts and whatnot, to try to say it is worse than the effects extravaganzas of the later sequels is a crime. If you try to compare the Elm Street movies to the recent spate of Marvel pictures, Freddy's…
I only put a question mark because I am aware the game exists, but I wasn't in existence when the game came out.
Still, I can't believe there was a Journey game. Anyway you want, that's the way you need it, huh?
My new year's gaming resolution simply would be to play a lot of the PS3 games I amassed before the PS4 and Xbone for Christmas came through. I still have the Ico/Shadow of the Colossus collection to play (I have played 1/2 of that collection), the Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2 HD remixes, Metal Gear HD Collection, I need to…
So what you are saying is that Indigo Prophecy needed more Kryptonite Fog and Native American hatred to not justify the expectations you had? I feel that way about most video games.
That was a game I remember convincing myself was good, but upon replay, I couldn't make it anymore than an hour and a half before my bullshit dial broke. Having said that, I have to wonder if Omikron because it came before Indigo Prophecy/Fahrenheit is less David Cage-y EMOSHUNS then his later work.
Someone here will probably acknowledge embarrassingly that Journey had an Atari(?) game in the early 80s when Steve Perry sadly goes.
The face she is making looks like it belongs in a comedy film, and before you get snarky, and Unintentional comedy film.
I am the exact same way, I love that video games are trying to explore so many avenues of expression that I reserve the AAA games for when I need the escapism and smaller games like this for the experience and the artistic merit.
Now I really want some slow motion close ups of the water levels set to Phillip Glass's Score from those movies.
Oh yeah, compare that music to the Snow level music in DKC3, and it goes full on "Christmas Jingle" with bells and everything*

Does anyone remember the time that Nintendo had a South Park game on the Nintendo 64? I used to play the hell out of that game. What was wrong with me?
Hey It's TINY RICK!!!
What was one of the most genuinely beautiful sights you've seen in your life? If they ask for clarification, it can be watching a certain movie, looking at a person, looking at a sunset, seeing the Sistine Chapel, whatever would be considered beautiful to that person. It's a nice question to ask
