The strangest thing to me about WoWP is that an album for the show was released with a rendition of "Strange Magic" that was actually worth putting into my "Electric Light Orchestra" playlist for all things ELO, either tangentially related to the band or just really good covers. THAT was a really good cover. Never

This sounds like a lost verse to "Too many Cooks", you can certainly sing it to the music with not much adjusting to the syllables.

"Pete and Pete" is like an indie movie, it was just for kids instead of looking like its for kids as directed by Harmony Korine.

Tommy Wiseau: "Don't Touch Me, Motherfucker!"
Uwe Boll: "You're just a chicken, Tommy! Cheep, cheep cheep, Chee-ee-ee-e-ee-eeep!"

A movie funded by Tommy Wiseau and directed by Uwe Boll would be an incredible movie to watch, and a Kickstarter about the drama of that production would be worth it more than actually paying money for a director I seldom like.

SOTN, much like my own life, I need more time to appreciate it.

If it were like a BBC or PBS documentary series, I'd be more willing to watch it, just because I think the history of film and film preservation is too interesting to fit into a 2 - 3 hour film. Make it a four or five hour documentary, and I'm on board.

It was probably in Emma Roberts' contract to cast her dad in something for her doing that "Unfabulous" show.

The interesting part is that the kid was Miko Hughes, whose storied career as a child actor had him doing more horrible things than most adults probably would. Dude did Pet Semetary when he was 3, Kindergarten Cop, Mercury Rising and New Nightmare. It's a sincere hope of mine that he lives a long and healthy life,

You were probably thinking about his career being dead, that's probably it.

I can't tell what's intimidating me more in this trailer: Johnny Depp as Whitey Bulger delivering a really good exchange, or what sounds like Hans Zimmer's strings from "Dark Knight" for the Joker put over the top of it.

I don't think we should stalk at this adaptation quite yet.

Actual line of Dialogue from Script:

I remember Whedon taking Cinematographer Wally Pfister's insults about his directing "Avengers" in good stride (After "Transcendence", dude should stick to shooting movies, not making them), but when did Whedon trash other movies?

Never has the song lyric "I drive a Chevrolet Movie Theater" been more suitable than this…

I disagree with that though. Wreck-It Ralph has its problems as well, chief among them is that the video game aspects are just as lightly veiled as Scott Pilgrim: Putting Sonic the Hedgehog, Pac-Man and making "Aerith lives" references is not an ode to video games, and the humor in it is awful. Damn it, you are a

If there is one takeaway I got from this poster viewing, it's that the "disembodied head on a movie poster" is actually nothing new. Here I thought Hollywood was unoriginal, but now I realize that old Hollywood could be as unoriginal, they just apply a body to the head this time around, except that one was more

Absolutely, but the ardent defender of all movies in my head will just say, "It's Sara's Subconscious, so it's not meant to make sense" makes everything better.

I just remember how after his 'original' picture, The Unborn with Gary Oldman, of all people, the trailer boasted "From the writer of The Dark Knight, It pissed me off to see that man can basically ride a gravy train to make any movie he damn well pleases. He can write TV shows, fine (I guess), but don't do movies.

If there is anything I will believe until the day I die, it's that David S. Goyer has no talent as a writer, and whenever he is fortunate to have his name attached to better movies, it's because of the writers around him doing better work (Dark Knight - Nolan/Nolan/Goyer, Dark City - Lem Dobbs/Goyer and Dir. Alex
