I don't even OWN a TV!

No, that's still pretty cool. As awful as those bands have become since 91, an even as overplayed and boring their songs from back then seem to us now, that's a good show back when that music was fresh.

Modern Rock stations treat Californication like Classic Rock stations treat Led Zeppelin IV, or the White Album. It doesn't make sense, why does anyone want to hear these awful RHCP songs like 4 times a day every day for 15 years?

"Oh you kids like the guy that plays Doctor Who now? Let's go watch some of his previous work!"

Yup, and read up on the length's he'd go to to crush people's careers and ruin their lives in order to protect his interests.

I can get people not liking U2's light post-punk beginnings, and not liking their overly earnest Unforgettable Fire -> Joshua Tree peak (and of course Rattle & Hum period is insufferable).
I can get people hating modern (since 2000) super-produced, giant-institution, Biggest Rock Band In The World U2 (though I like

Ah yes, that would make sense.

Xorn, he decided to have Xorn go the full Hitler. It was Xorn all along. Remember that. Xorn.
That was always the plan and was totally not forced through by Marvel way after the fact at all.

Geoff Johns wrote Infinite Crisis. And Rags Morales didn't work on that one.

Yeah I thought they were going to go with the mildly offensive concept that God comes out and praises Anthony for his show.
But then Jesselnik just up and caps God? That was good stuff.

Must…be…first…to make… "Taking my talents to"…pun…

Where does this concept come from that Pacific Rim wasn't just another typical CGI explosion fest dumb blockbuster? Why are there so many ardent defenders of Pacific Rim claiming that it somehow deserved to be heralded?

Oh god this trailer is nothing but Orange & Teal.

This this this. The argument of "well tickets cost and then once you factor in trippling that price so my entire family can have a giant concession meal then I can't afford to go to the movies!!!" is entirely stupid.
At this point, you're not paying to see a movie, you're paying to get ripped off for some incredibly

Watch the Soderbergh speech linked to in the article. People have this illusion that the production budget is the "cost" of making a movie, which is so far from the truth. He explains exactly why studios won't just give small budget projects to filmmakers any more.

Like most classic rock bands, Queen is a "brand" now. So you gotta broaden everything to hit that lowest common denominator to maximize revenue across all synergized media streams (which is a killer song title BTW, no one steal that, patent pending).

Crazy Joe Davola

Classic Varg.

I did like in one of the earlier seasons how there's only one roundabout indication about how she died.

Oh man oh man, I can't wait to see what sort of crazy schemes Jonathan comes up with to get back at Howard and Hanks.
