I assumed the title was a play on the "smoker" sub-plot in the episode.

I think Walt could've worked as a single episode addition but there's just not enough there - either personlity wise or as a potential plot/humor source - to justify four episodes. Unlike Planbee or Johnny Johnson Walt isn't funny on his own and he never really meshes with the cast. I didn't mind him so much in…
Sorry Vicky. Higher title word count aside, I'm going to have to go with Human Centipede over Y Tu Mama Tambien in the "for-god's-sake-don't-watch-this-with-your-mom" department.
Paul Reubens? Has he really been in enough stuff since his fall from grace to qualify as distracting at all? I think he's pretty awesome character actor.
Eh, I like Jeff. He does a very distinctive and drawn out delivery though - I could see how that would be distracting.
Jim Carrey & "Unfortunate Events"
This is a classic example of star actor badly in need of strong director. I do think Carrey could've been fantastic in this role if he hadn't been given free rein to do his usual Jim Carrey schtick. Instead the entire movie takes a backseat to his constant mugging and assorted…
Yeah - painfully cheeeezy.
Hey. Leave ham alone.
It's a twist ending. He was actually using Eudora the whole time.
I think having the Data subplot build the way it did is a perfectly fine use of dramatic license. The ending scene with Data effortlessly stunning the colonists and then destroying the aqueduct is a great wrapup to the story. I also think Data's line (paraphrased from memory here): "You will die having never seen the…
I used to have a "yeah right - funny but only happens in TV land" attitude towards this episode until I lived it trying to find my car in one of the BART station parking lots. In retrospect taking note only of the cars I was parked next to probably wasn't the smartest idea.
Milkman - that's a good question. You just never know with Bill. He did seem to take care to place the cup in the most optimal location for Dave to accidentally pick it up.
Inapproriate Grieving?
So what are some other examples throughout sticom-dom of inappropriate grieving? That trope doesn't seem familiar to me and I can't think of any off the top of my head.
I dunno. Are you sure you want to risk being a nameless extra in the NR universe? Bad things seem to happen to them.
I love Bill's deliberate campaign to provoke and gross out Dave. Such a classic Bill move.
The reveal is absolutely awesome. It's an especially nice piece of editing because when we're first dropped into the scene at the podium it's right after Mr. James "volunteered" Dave for the eulogy. So Dave's flustered look and hesitant manner would seem to be just the normal related feelings of awkwardness trying to…
Ghostwriters? Did you mean Ghostbusters?
"Great show, but far the best line on the subject is from Yes, Prime Minister"
A blue cape?
If he was going to wear a cape at all, why not go for the canonical and much more flattering black? What a half-assed effort!
Samuel: it was actually Phil Hartman who pissed off the Sintra family and various hyper-sensitive Sinatra worshipers. Piscopo always took care to suck up to the Sinatra family and not do anything that might hurt their poor widdle feelings.
