I usually mute all commercials regardless of how loud they are. It still kinda surprises me that people sit through commercials with the sound on. Unless it's a funny commercial I suppose.

I don't know. I think you're reading too much into a simple statement. I don't think the original statement is "transparently false". Maybe - just maybe! - that's really how Carell feels and Lieberstein genuinely believed that his statement best expressed the views and feelings of his actor. The statement you provide

Nah, they were in the pilot "Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire". Might've also been in the Ullman shorts.

"Yes. Many of The Simpsons writers expressed great interest in making a live-action movie with Phil Hartman as Troy McClure. Unfortunately Phil died before any of this could ever happen."

"I kind of can't believe that nobody has yet credited Kelsey Grammer for his invaluable contribution to the character. I mean, Kelsey Grammer IS Sideshow Bob. I literally can't imagine anyone else doing his voice."

You got a problem with googly-eyed monsters pal?

Hey son, you know how you've been bugging me to go and get you a puppy? Well today after work, I went out and I bought you one. But on the way home, I got hungry and I ate him!

I'd go but my best barouche-landau is in the shop.

No, I can't agree with you there. Rogan was fine on Newsradio. He had just the right level of cocky swagger and great chemistry with the rest of the cast. True, he played Joe Rogan but that's what he does best. Well, that and color commentary for UFC I hear.

Maybe now is the time to introduce her to Cannon's Red Meat.

Hmmm…

That's a serious case of denialism you have there owumd.

"Bill Moves On" is really an amazing episode. It's one of those things I really can't rewatch on a regular basis. Way too heartbreaking.

That's the thing though - I don't think they *did* sell that idea. That's part of what bugs me about JJH. All of the sudden nobody recognizes Bill's voice impressions (despite the fact that that same Clinton impression made Bill a minor celebrity just a few episodes back)? Or can see that he's far and away more

I think "Sinking Ship" is a solid C+ episode. I hated it when I first saw it - partly because it was the same format as the space episode, partly because even now I'm sick of the whole "Titantic" phenomenon. On repeated viewings though it does sort of grow on you. It has a few really cute moments ("I hear she's

That was indeed the space episode. This one opens with a good Phil line though:

Yes, everything that BStu said. "Airport" is easily one of the best episodes of the series.

The first warburton story gave us the classic scene of Matthew interviewing Jimmy in jail.

I like James & The Giant Peach. The movie should really have been all stop motion though. The live action parts aren't memorable in any way.

Well I'm not sure about the whole homoerotic thing but I agree with the rest of your point. For me having Matthew win by tickling just seemed like such an obvious out. There's nothing inherently funny about the situation or the physical acting here.
