I'm calling it now: The season's gonna end with Kenny dead in that swimming pool.

As far as I know it's only playing in NYC and LA as of now. Its a shame, because its really worth seeing.
During my school years, I managed to be in two fucking productions of "Guys and Dolls," and have to see another three put on by friends in other schools.
I was just in the pit for this! That score is a huge pain in the ass… What did you play?
In my opinion, the one thing season four of Community did admirably (albiet in a lackluster way) was rehabilitate the character of Chang so he could actually function in a group setting. Seeing Jeong play a much more understated version of Chang that could actually participate in group sequences without derailing…
I'm not sure how much this is an actual cover, considering Costello himself is actually playing the song too, but damn this is probably my favorite version of the song. Costello's playing on it kills me as well — love that gritty, reverb-y sound he gets when he rolls of the treble on his Jazzmaster, and when he solos…
It's not too pedantic. He's one of the best known JM player around. Fender actually produced a signature artist model after his Jazzmaster: http://www.musiciansfriend….
Man, the AVC even knows that Dowd hating Miyazaki is bad. They didn't even bother to reference his middling review in the title of the article, an just skipped to saying that the fans liked it. Very telling.
Does this mean that we can stop getting the weird demon lady jump scares during commercial breaks on Adult Swim? I can't see things like that that late at night then go to sleep haha…
I feel as though it's not intentional, especially because earlier in the episode Ryan trips on the same tennis ball going downstairs to the basement and tells Wilfred to pick up his toys, which implies it was just something Wilfred does regularly (leaning towards accident).
I think they are integral — because even if it amounts to nothing, and Ryan just is mentally ill as you (and I suspect, at the very least all the "mythology" helps illustrate the breadth and severity of his condition. I'm not sure I've seen another show go on for so long, where the sole POV character also happened to…
Another cool thing I noticed was how Wright used color in the film (on props, in sets and costumes) to constantly, subtly recall the rest of the trilogy. Using clips found on YouTube, I put together this, which is a fairly obvious, but really cool example of using the red/blue/green color scheme.
Yeah, but I put some lettuce in there for him to eat.
The only way the game of oneuppmanship could have gotten better is if Ryan had hidden a heartworm pill inside the dog testicle.
This was a fantastic season finale. Was anyone else picking up a Tarantino vibe from the sequence in the restaurant? Also, the show has continued to find the most hilarious ways to use Fives in sight gags — they got two big laughs from me out of him being in cuffs, and then again when shooting the gun with his one arm…
I will maintain that "Pineapple Express" is a really, really good (albiet flawed) movie, and "The Sitter" is fine for a laugh on a lazy Sunday afternoon (the less said about Your Highness the better).
I think you might be conflating The Perks of Being a Wallflower and the Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime. In Perks, the kid was an exceptional english student who wanted to be a writer, but shy/socially maladroit. In Curious Incident, the narrator is a teenager with Asperger's who's great a math, writing a…
Jerry Bruckheimer really doesn't char my tree. There's no way I'm getting off the boat for him.
So did anyone else notice how disturbingly blue Ryan's office was in his dream sequence with his dad? That was some pretty intense mise-en-scene going on there, and I'm pretty sure it ties in with the whole "blue barn" imagerey that was going on last season – especially since I don't think we've seen Ryan's office…
No. It really is different from all of his others (though I liked the rest just fine). The chess tournament provides the film with a narrative framework (albiet a pretty loose one), that his other films didn't necessarily have, making it easier to follow and watch when you know the character's motivations and the…
