Slow Train starts out good but by the time we're naming the animals I've had enough.
Joe's Garage is such a great album that I think my greatest disappointment in a follow up realease by any artist was parts II & III of the same. Beyond Watemellon in Easter Hay there is hardly a song on it.
On the CD version of the album I love the 2nd cd much more than the 1st but The Real Me is the apex of the band playing together in the studio even giving Wont Get Fooled Again a run for its money.
Diamond Dogs has some great songs (Diamond Dogs & Rebel Rebel at least are among his greatest) and yet its not an album I usually turn to these days when I want to hear some Bowie.

Its my least favorite Pavement album but does contain one of their best songs - Folk Jam.
