If there was any fear that the King would've started stuttering while giving the speech live, it would have been recorded beforehand. Hence, there was no fear that he would start stuttering. Pretending that there was is a cheat.

Can I still dismiss the film because there was no need for the big climactic speech to be given live? Pretending that it couldn't just be recorded beforehand was the cheapest way I've ever seen for a screenwriter to just create 'high stakes' out of thin air.
