I Will Be Damned

Did you come up with that yourself or did you have a recipe from somewhere? Because the lasagna sounds incredible.

In the theaters, it was the Fox and the Hound with my mom and brother. I can't remember the first movie I saw on video.

I haven't watched soaps since college, but for awhile I was a hardcore OLTL and GH fan. I was a freshman in the dorms living with someone I didn't know beforehand. As a freshman, I got stuck with a lot of morning classes, but I was usually done everyday by noon, and after lunch I would come back to the room and my

I know, right? I'm a woman, and I have no idea where the idea that "women can get laid" anytime they want came from. I never made it to the year point in my droughts, but I came pretty darn close.

That drives me nuts. I went through a period of singlehood for about three and a half years, and it was one of the best damn things I've ever done. Granted, at times I got piney, but you get to a place where you're less likely to put up with people's shit.

The line about her kids and knowing that she'll never meet them but she likes that Russell has them was particularly moving as well. I think I need to watch this episode again.

I feel the need to see it again. I was in between two rounds of drinking at True/False when I first saw it, and I remember liking it, but yeah, I was a bit tipsy, which was not the right way to see this.

It totally choked me up. I haven't read the review yet as I need to have something to read at work tomorrow, but yeah, holy shit.

I was definitely thinking that the conversation with Stan had to have been a bit…awkward on Phillip's part.

I know people have been calling for Phillip and Elizabeth getting back together for awhile, but that scene with them at the end really choked me up. Something about her speaking in Russian - it just seemed so honest. And now I'm getting teary-eyed all over again.

I really hope they manage to keep her around next season. Now that she's earned some good graces, it could really complicate her relationship with Phillip and Elizabeth in a lot of interesting ways.

Back when they had their daily hits on the front page? That's how I got roped in as well.

Eek, I have no idea on the name of it. It's right around the corner from a Tibetan place, and I think it's close to the extension campus because we were able to take the campus connector there. It has bright yellow walls and white tables. And they don't have a menu - you basically just have to ask them what they have

I know, right? But apparently there's a pretty sizable population there, enough that we had our choice of Somali places.

I don't know if I've tried a rye besides Old Overholt (which, for the price, is pretty darn good), but it's a world I would like to explore more. Bulleit Rye has the green label, correct?

I was in Minneapolis this weekend for a college roommate reunion, and I had Somali food for the first time. It was incredible! They had these beans that were especially delicious. I tried finding Somali bean recipes online, and while the one I've tried thus far was very good, it wasn't the same.

He's the type of guy that really needs facial hair, because without it, he looks twelve. With a bit of scruff, though, he's very nice-looking.

@Scrawler2:disqus good point. When you're dealing with situations that could lead to a nuclear war, you'd really want to have any links half a world away.

Granted, I'm not that knowledgeable about Cold War history, but couldn't they have sent Gregory to Cuba? Replace vodka with rum, and it would basically be the same situation, only significantly warmer.

Vacationing to KC? Are you visiting friends? No judgement, I love that town, but it's not often that you hear of it as a vacation spot unless you're visiting people, there for work, or really love barbecue.
