@avclub-d116ae13554d47530ed800aef8ed5755:disqus I saw an interview with Kevin Costner about this film and he was going on about how that line made no sense and that he had never heard "have a catch" either, but the writer/director/whoever insisted on the line staying that way. And now I wished I remember why…

If you view gay people as lesser humans, then the step from marrying someone of your own sex to marrying an animal is bit more bridgeable. I don't know if that helps it make more sense, but it's something.

Me too.

Are you thinking of Clarence Clemmons?

And by her, I mean Aisha Tyler.

I had never heard of her until I saw her on (don't judge me) the Talking Dead, and she was one of the best guests they had. I'd watch her show.

I'm the same way. I love playing, but I always spend about 15% of my time trying to get out of corners. When husband and I play Halo, I don't allow myself to try with sniper rifles or do any steering of the warthogs. I like to tell myself that this is because I'm an "artist with a Thompson" but I know in my heart it's

Norman Reedus' gleeful "Oh my God, crazy religious Americans like I've always heard about!" face was pretty great.

I saw this at a mini film festival a few years ago, and he and the director were there to talk about the documentary. We ran into him at a bike shop the next morning, and he was very nice, very self-deprecating, and just seemed to have a very good sense of humor about the whole thing.

Oh no! I hate to hear my home region is failing you. Any area in particular that you're getting stuck in?

@avclub-8dd007f4a97be79c135c67999bf5b27e:disqus I'm sure you can, but who would want to?

It would depend on the channels they were on. If it's a premium that doesn't edit swearing, Goodfellas. Otherwise, Apocalypse Now.

Thanks! It's been a very tumultous year, with grad school graduation, jobs gained and lost, and moving, so I'm thinking if we survived this, our odds of making it are okay.

Please let us know how this goes! We rent as well, and I'm trying to figure out cheap ways to do raised beds. And how far south are you? I'm in the KC area, and it's still too cold to plant anything.

@AlbinoHorseEye:disqus Was it that much farther away than Papa Del's? My memory of Green Street is a bit hazy, but it seems like they were a block or two from each other.

My one year wedding anniversary is Sunday! Holy crap, I'm still getting used to the phrase "my husband."

Working on the Huron blanket and log cabin quilt, but I've also started making a cat house for one of my furry demons out of t-shirt yarn. It might take me awhile though, as working with t-shirt yarn is harder than I expected.

Boulevard's Grain Storm is becoming more widespread, and we're picking up a bottle of it every time we're at the store. It's a little bit of heaven in a glass.

Sunday I made gumbo z'herves, which is basically a roux, spices, and three pounds of greens in it (I had some bok choi and collards were cheap at the store, I threw in some kale and swiss chard as well). I was baking some bread while making this, and I think doing those two things at once really made me take my time
