Completely agree. That said: there's a difference between liking things that are trite or easy because they are exactly that—they're fun and require no investment and that's what you want from your entertainment—and liking those same things because you think they're phenomenal artistic endeavors.

2009 was a top-notch music year. Certainly better than 2012.

I want his character and Harris Wittel's character to go to a Phish concert together.

I thought this week was some of the best animation Archer's ever done—the falling, the mirrored building, etc. Great work from their art team.

Yeah. This episode wasn't outright bad—it was just boring.

Haircuts have not been known to improve Keri Russell's ratings.

I feel like the pacing was off this episode. Lots of opportunity for things to be funny, but nothing really delivered.

Mad Men is hitting that part of the 60s where everything went from effortlessly chic to NEON COLORS AND HUGE HAIR. The late 60s/early 70s were not a flattering time.

I don't disagree, but that's a real bleak outlook. The show is written by and stars women, but it's not like it has entire plots based on tampons and shoes.

I can't believe how far down the page I had to scroll to find this comment! Broad City is one of my favorite web series—it's silly and light-hearted. I can't wait!

Leslie Ann Warren?! I maybe thought she had died? I'm definitely going to watch that episode

Agreed with @avclub-912a5c5978ebf1e452a4ed30658aa102:disqus . This isn't a "villain" season. It's just one long chase, with players on all sides. Actually, it's basically an Appalachian It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World

As for Rachel being married: In the ep with her convict brother-in-law, her nephew jokes that he's found her a boyfriend. Which makes me think she wasn't married then. Whether divorce was before or after that, I don't really have any clue.

Colt's death'll be in the second-to-last episode, calling it now.

@avclub-a9daf4cb99df7595a23ecca976a8e0b1:disqus OH MY GOD! Why would you say that!? I hadn't even thought of that and now it just seems inevitable.

Well, he sure seems like he's carved a nice niche for himself as "Hillbilly"

This is coming back to the timeline stuff that's been bothering me—were Raylan and Ava sleeping together less than a year ago in the world of this show? That ups the stakes a bit, I think.

That's my thought too—no prosecutor is gonna risk their career over this one unless it leads to a bigger fish like Boyd.

Raylan, I dunno—it's almost more tragic for him to just stay there.
Ava, though? Ava might not get out of this alive. And I'm starting to worry about Johnny.

I would turn over Drew Thompson myself for a chance to bring back Dewey Crowe again
