See, I didn't see Sawyer showing those feelings for Kate again at all. I think he cares about Kate and that's why he wants to get her off the island with him, but it's definitely not the same kind of relationship that pre-Juliet Sawyer showed.

Having no idea about how subs operate at all, is it possible that piloting one is just like piloting a boat, as long as you don't submerge it? In which case, it would be easier to take the sub than the plane.
I also thought this a B+ episode, mainly because it didn't further the major plot the way last week's episode did. However, there were some great scenes, most assuredly, and Sawyer eps are always entertaining (really, the best of the main cast. Jack and Kate eps suck…Jin and Sun eps, eh….Hurley eps are funny but…
Cmdr Obvious…that was genius.
Sawyer really has gotten his fuck on way more than any other male character.
Ralph - Darlton specifically said that the choosing of the island leader was similar to the choosing of the Dalai Lama, and that Richard Alpert filled the role of the Panchen Lama.
Rest assured - if Fahey dies on LOST, that basically guarantees he'll be on another ABC show shortly thereafter. ABC's other programming = graveyard for former LOSTies.
The rest of the dudes in the band included fucking Butch Vig.
Never done this, that technology does exist, in its infancy, in which someone can think of words and they will appear as text. More importantly, though, is that House used that exact technology on a patient with locked-in syndrome to communicate with him like two seasons ago. How they went from text being brand new to…
I agree with otto mann…you are not responsible for what music you like below the age of 16, because you're pretty much stuck with whatever's on the radio, what your parents like, and the possibility that you have an older sibling with terrible taste.
Yeah, I too was in my senior year of high school, and 1999 might be the nadir for pop music. I think 96-99 is when alternative music became so overexposed, and then when 99-00 hit, it was all thrown away.
I refuse to acknowledge that Garbage made any music after their debut album, which is still a great album.
He was pretty funny in that Ed Hardy Bros. video, though.
He is admittedly a damn good rapper. Got the flow, the vocab, and more than any other rapper right now, he's a great enunciater. Usually live rap is…not good…but Luda really brings it.
It might have been because I was really drunk and had taken some xanax, but…was there only one PJ performance last night? Also, having them in the gremlin sketch was what did it for me.
The best version is easily the 80s TV miniseries, featuring fine acting work by the likes of Scott Baio, Carol Channing, Dom Delouise, and Sammy David Jr, among many others.
I was raised on a houseboat in Spain!
No mention of the little Human Being?
Because that was the best sight gag on the show this week! So, so creepy.
Community is definitely my favorite show this year (except when Always Sunny is on) - the absurdism is just too well-grounded in reality that it rarely misses its mark, unlike 30 Rock. Plus, not a single bad episode so far (excluding perhaps the pilot).
I don't really know about the blond vs. brunette, but I think she looks way better with the short hair. She can pull off the pixie look well.
