Wait wait wait…. the clamshell is straight up a birth control pill container. That's not only obvious, but confirmed by the director. She's not chaste. She's promiscuous!

I just find it utterly baffling that the show-runners set up all these twists and intrigues just to play it straight. Why have Arya use her right hand if it's Arya? Why have the Umbers refuse to bow and pay fealty if they aren't going to rebel against the Boltons? I really think they're winking at the complexity of

There's no way Roose is going out like that in the books.

I thought of that as well, but he already rather severely burned himself in the first season/book, which would be kind of hard to explain. "Well, flames don't hurt me, but hot glass, I mean…"

I did not get the "sex is bad" vibe at all. I thought it was "sex means you're an adult, and becoming an adult means facing the reality of a slow but inexorable walk towards death."

The fuck are you ON about?

Oh yeah, he was off the stage and in the audience immediately after he finished.

I had no idea how many massive Who Charted fans there were. I listen to the show and still didn't get most of the inside jokes. People knew every song, every line, etc.

I was at Howard Kremer's show in Brooklyn last week, and he let slip that Scott was selling Earwolf. Any other word on this?

Wait…is oil check not a common term?

I am betting dollars to doughnuts that Adam Warlock and the Soul Gem will make it five in Infinity War….or even in Dr. Strange.

"Respect all people based on talent" is very much the point of view of someone who doesn't get turned down for every opportunity despite talent because they don't fit the right demographic.

A quick skim through the comments and I can't find a mention about it, so -

I saw it this evening, and while it was a very good horror movie, it waves the metaphor flag way too much (again, done much better by the Babadook). What I took away from it was that the movie was not about Jay, but rather about Paul, and that the only way to deal with it is to accept that the person you like has

The thing is, the guy at the beginning told her that it might be slow moving, but that it wasn't stupid, which sets up that it wasn't going to get into the pool.

Shooting it did NOT work, inasmuch as it's still right behind them at the end of the movie. The point was (much like the Babadook, which did it MUCH better IMHO) that it's harmless if you accept that it's inevitable.

There was definitely a take where they beat Kumail down, kick him, take his helmet, and run away with it, screaming into the go-pro on top of it.

Dottie has to be a character from the comics, no?

You know the "actively dense" thing is a bit she does on purpose, right?
