    first season?
    hasn't it already been cancelled?

It was indeed conceived on the island. If it weren't, Jin wouldn't have been the father.

I don't see much of an indication that Kate has "joined" MiB - she certainly didn't seem comfortable with it last week. Also, Claire didn't end up too poorly in alterna-verse.

I needed letters of rec for undergrad as well, and it wasn't an Ivy League.

Maybe not-locke couldn't leave the main island before, and now he can, so he's just doing it to show he can leave the main island?

Right - Locke couldn't kill himself either; Ben did it for him. I always thought Richard had some sort of extra protection, though, because he always seemed so unconcerned whenever someone pointed a gun at him.

I got the feeling that alterna-ben was pretty naive.

Right, the whole point was that Ben wouldn't risk Alex's future for anything in the alterna world, unlike in the regular world, where he would risk anything for power. It was a pretty bare analogy.

Also, an anti-firstie? Do you get to live in a water? Suffer from chemo-retrovirals?

    Giving up
The last two episodes have been better than the rest of the season, but man has this season been disappointing as a whole. At least it's creeping up from the nadir of the medical conference episode.

    Nice work
This is actually the first BLTN article that I really enjoyed and appreciated.

The bert and ernie thing was great, especially because it was abandoned for funeral purposes.

    San Francisco?
Well, the line "Hey Deadhead…take a bite of peach!" would definitely have been lifted.

Don't forget that the US version of the office is executive produced by Gervais and Merchant. The US Spaced didn't even have the approval of Wright and Pegg.

I've met her - she's gorgeous. Google her.

If you ever saw Nowhere, there would be no doubt.

Comin' in at number 5 like EL NINO

Oh, I've had it completely finished and done for over a month now, strangelovecraft. It's getting 5 committee members to agree on a fucking date that has been a total nightmare.

eh, not only are you not supposed to be called doctor until you finish your PhD or MD, but it's illegal to represent yourself as such. Even AFTER you finish your PhD/MD, you can be called Dr, but cannot identify yourself in any specialty until you are licensed. So, when I finish my PhD, I can call myself Dr., but I…

As an ABD who is coming perilously close to his defense, it is a very easy stasis to get held in (I've been ABD for almost 2 years now, but in my defense it took 1.5 of those two years to collect all my data).
