I got horrifically sick about 30 minutes into watching Taken. Was stuck in a bathroom for the next 36 hours. The rational-minded may say that it was food poisoning…I'm sticking with Taken as the culprit.

Stagnating is when deers are starting to get all rutty….oh wait, no…that's Stag Mating. Sorry.

Also, doesn't Jay Leno do like 300 shows a year at tiny-ass little comedy clubs? He might not be funny, but you can't say he's forgotten his roots. And letterman got started in grimy clubs in NYC in the 70s. They've easily faced worse crowds than gallagher.

gallagher definitely likes dunham. I imagine he thinks of dunham as carrying gallagher's standard of high quality, family comedy.

    Delgos
    Delgoes?

Hey, they've invaded NY at least twice at this point. Actually, I think it might be three times.

    Is it too soon
to consider the songs from Colbert's christmas special? Especially apt would be the "Are You High?" one with Willie Nelson.

CW, it is indeed the Brown building of science on Washington Square East. It's connected to what used to be called the Main Building for Arts and Science, but I think that's now called the Silver center.

The Triangle Shirtwaist Factory became the science building of the college I went to. Every year to mark the anniversary, firefighters would come and put flowers against it. I thought that was terribly sweet.

    well
it's certainly not billy corgan's sweet, sweet lovin'

I immediately thought of Yo Gabba Gabba as well.

I like his propensity towards exaggerated whispers.

Bobby Flay, you rule. Keep on fuckin' Stephanie March.

Wow, I didn't realize Slattery was so young. I knew he was younger than mad men indicated, but I was guessing like early 50s. Maybe they wrinkle him up. Either way, he was hilarious on the colbert report the other night.

    My so-called dog?
I'd like to see Marmaduke sing "I wanna be sedated."

You could consider that 2001 had many good movies, and 2007 had fewer, but those few were exceptionally good.

the Phaal one was brutal, too.

Word is that it's going to be something like an adaptation of the Armor Wars storyline, and possibly have something to do with the Extremis storyline, in which case the circular arc reactor wouldn't be necessary anymore. That's just internet guessing, though.

I heard the script was not all it was quacked up to be.

It wasn't that Cameron wasn't being honest, it was the robotic and clearly revenue-minded use of demographic terminology that I think was the focus of today's hate.
