This might be an obscure marine flatulence reference, but I loved the old SNL episode where Charlie Sheen was on Iron Chef (back when it was only the original Japanese version), and someone did a great impression of the announcer:

Right, that's how white castle claims to cook them. Put the onions on the grill, and put the burger on the onions, so the steam from the onions cooks the burger. Not technically true, but it does make the burger delightfully oniony, which causes what my old college roommate called "a disrumption in the stomach"

The press conference is easily the best part of the show; it's quite often very funny.

Sharkfarts, that explains it…I guess it was just worded strangely, in that he could have just said "women," in that one would assume that both male quadrants would be accounted for in the case of this movie.

    Questions
How are younger and older "quadrants?" Wouldn't you need four areas to make a quadrant? For example, on ladies, I prefer the upper right quandrant and the lower left quadrant.

OH MY GOD, X-Men Origins, easily the worst movie I've seen this year. It was effortlessly awful. I think Avi Arad got all the plot points dictated to him by his son as a bar mitzvah present.

Warren Oates, that's exactly why the movie "Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist" makes me get stab happy.

As far as I can remember, Scarlett Johansson was in three good movies: Ghost World, Lost in Translation, and Match Point. You could argue she was good in those movies largely because of the directors. Whether this points to her being useless without a fantastic director, or just that her choice of movies as of late

All trailers and reviews for that movie instantly pointed to "horrific" for me. I think it literally hits all of my "loathe" buttons.

I think of all of Rodriguez' movies as comedies, and I think that's the right way to go about it.

I happen to really like Drowning Mona, it's one of those movies that's really funny despite itself.

I approve slightly less of this mini-review. It's a bit redundant.

Canal streetin' my style, like you internet sharin' my files

    ahhhh, thanks rockrocky.

The funny thing is that it's arguably been secularized for CENTURIES, given that the way that Americans perceive it was basically introduced by Washington Irving as a joke in the early 19th century.

    Word play
I love the Clipse's wordplay. I think my favorite is still from Grindin': My grind's 'bout family, never been about fame; On days I wasn't Abel/able there was always Cain/'caine

I definitely count it as one of the decade's best, if not THE best rap album of the decade. I was anxiously awaiting this album, so I'm happy it's at least not a disappointment.

You know, I never thought of that. I guess I'm part of the last generation to obsessively watch USA's up all night, etc. I remember back in 1994, when our prodigy service introduced the WWW, the first time I went on it, I found porn in about 10 minutes.

    Honestly
Amelie, where the hell do you find this stuff?

Ah, elitist trash, there is a ytmnd for every occasion, isn't there?
