Well, that's what I heard.
Well, that's what I heard.
I will be at work, patiently waiting to watch DVR "Parks & Rec." I award no space for "The Office," because I like that show better when it's called "Parks & Recreation."
Whatever, Gatsby should be played by Guy Pearce. Did anyone see "Mildred Pierce"? He's perfect for Gatsby, right down the tall, lankiness and the taut, tan skin.
Yeah, that's the hitch here. If it was a joke (which most signs point to "probably"), then it was a terrible joke in execution, at the very least.
I'm not sure TFLN is really suited for character-based jokes. Regardless of how funny they are (if you skim through 50, you might find 2 good ones), does anyone else only hear them read by pretty much two different people?
I went back recently to see if it still had whatever I enjoyed way back when. The first 15 minutes were absolutely golden, but boredom set in so fast after that.
It's so exciting when there's a mid-Friday film review
It's always like, "Oh, shit! There's serious garbage coming out today! Even the studio thinks this will be atrocious!"
I love the writers of "Parks & Rec"
because when I think Ron Swanson is going to give a child a gun, he gives her a land mine.
I have a friend who hates nearly all comedies
With very, very few exceptions. One of these exceptions is "Freddy Got Fingered." And it's high on the list. Do I need to re-watch this. is there a tiny but growing cult of people who adore this film?
Uncopyrightable
This is the longest word that does not repeat a letter. Thanks, bar trivia!
I gotta agree with Neckbeard. Timberlake might be committing the great internet crime of having his talent slightly overestimated, but Cameron Diaz offers damn near nothing. This is a career actress whose highlight reel will at least include (if not end with) a shot of her with jizz in her hair.
There Be Dragons
A "cooperator" of Opus Dei bought out 5 showings of this film in the largest theater at the cinema at which I work, spent more than 10 grand.
She went to my high school
It is a pretentious high school.
This sounds like "Basketball Diaries"
I never saw "Basketball Diaries," but isn't it about the power of basketball on a toe-headed, teenage moppet?
Kathleen Freeman played the nun who ran the orphanage the Blues Brothers were from. Which other nun are you referring to?
@Gentle Herpes: my bet's on Jane Lynch playing the nun.
This picture puts Courtney Love's turtle head to shame.
She used to pull in solid guest turns before "Glee" turned those into a signature character all over the cover of "People" magazine. For examples, see "Smiley Face," "Weeds," and "Arrested Development," not to mention her great stuff in Christopher Guest films.
Alan "Mr. Fabulous" Rubin as the put-open hotel manager who can't get these new bellhops to behave.
So it's "Blues Brothers"?
Who will be cast to repeatedly attempt to murder one of them?
