Yeah. This is a perfect title.
Yeah. This is a perfect title.
I misread the title of his show
as "Strange Dogs."
The 92nd Street Y is an established cultural center. It's not even a YMCA, it's a YMHA, the H standing for "Hebrew." It's a big place, too. Hosts concerts and lectures (very dry-type stuff, if Steve Martin was to be anything less than high-brow, it wouldn't be there), has a gym frequented mostly by old Jewish men, has…
Could be worse. Could be People's Choice.
Hey, Look. They Might Be Giants.
Nominated for children's album. Again. Maybe They'll win. Again.
No, but I do see the connection. Also, that date sounds fine for Weezer's renaissance. Rivers Cuomo pulls a Johnny Cash and leaves this world reflecting on a wasted life.
A flow-chart of this:
1. Celebrities go cold turkey on a probable addiction (social networking)
2. Their withdrawal causes resentment in fans who don't donate
3. They grow to hate their fans and start producing work that spites them
4. Fans resent spiteful work, turn on celebrities
5. Spiteful work keeps coming, getting…
The NFL has a much wider appeal than you seem to think. There are a lot of culturally savvy, too-cool-for-school types (myself included) who thoroughly enjoy the NFL (the most likely to resist would be the full-on hipster, someone who would insist that "geek vs. jock" not only exists, it was created especially for…
"If there's a mass culture in the United States, still,
then Dancing With The Stars has been a major part of it, along with such enjoyable treats as Avatar, Taylor Swift (the person, more than any of her songs), Katy Perry's "California Gurls," and The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo."
Hey, Giuliani!
New York needs you to kill off
The hoboes again.
If you are so poor,
Then I say to you, "Shower,
And you might find work."
I tell you again
And again again
Remind you again
I have no change.
Are you trying to say that the recently released "Kush," featuring Akon and Snoop Dogg, is about DOPE??
So if you got Dre on his back, it says "MOM"?
Yet Grimace said he was ambitious;
And Grimace is an honorable man.
What about my Donald Duck Mason jar?
Are Mason jars exempt?
I think special features takes renting just a little too far. If you enjoy a movie enough to want to sit for hours and learn about it, why don't you just buy the DVD?
I second this emotion.
I don't know how I completely forgot the Ohio-based Great Lakes Brewery. Their Dortmunder Gold and Elliot Ness beers are particularly good (save for the Dortmunder, they all have amusing Cleveland-centric names, such as Edmund Fitzgerald or Burning River).
As a go-to beer, it's gotta be a Sam Adams. The Boston lager is solid, but I get really excited when the winter beer and the Octoberfest come around each year.
