Anyone that considers this the worst episode, especially for plausibility reasons, needs to see Saddlesore Galactica (jockey elves) or Principal And The Pauper (Armind Tamzarian) and then shut up. This episode definitely stretches it's idea beyond reasonable standards but tons of episodes from season 4 on are just as

While season 4 has some of the funniest bits in Mr. Show history, a lot of the sketches just drag. Even some of the highlights (Story of Everest, Teardrop Awards) are extremely long for a sketch comedy show. Obviously, the ones I named are meant to be repetitive but there are so many sketches that are much too long.

So, am I supposed to be flippant or condescending when I respond now? I'm not sure.

God, I love love love Seven Samurai more than just about anything. I don't even know where to begin with how much it affects me. Anyone that has not seen this film needs to see it immediately.

I saw Kill! once and found it to just be okay. I definitely prefer Sanjuro.

Everyone complaining about wanting a blu-ray of Ran should look into the Lionsgate version. I've read that it's the best image available for home viewing of the film and screen shots I've seen confirm this.

As a matter of fact, I don't!

I am legitimately proud to say
I had no idea who Levi Johnston was before this article. I knew some guy knocked up Palin's daughter but could not have named this person.

Pre-taped Call In is the kind of sketch that I appreciate more than I actually find funny. I understand the brilliance but I never laugh at it.

Marge's drive to the Power Plant
where she sees an entire relationship through series of different couples is amazing in its simplicity. It is hilarious yet works as a reminder of the strong emotional choice Marge is wrestling with. In a wonderful episode, this is the highlight because of how it walks a fine line

Why is Kedzie funny?
Don't get me wrong. I love Kedzie and consider the performance to be amazing. When I watch standup exactly like what Kedzie is a parody of, I don't laugh at all.

Somewhere, someone is waiting for the Last Exit To Springfield review so they can try "It was the best of times. It was the FIRST of times."

"Well, you were right about the Berlin Wall."

The Kinks are way too difficult to do a GTG for. Their first few albums are similar but each subsequent album is completely different from the previous after that. Starting with Village Green or Muswell Hillbillies isn't going to help you get into Lola Vs. Powerman or Something Else. A Primer would be great though.

Most impressive thing about The Parking Garage
is not how hilarious it is. It is that it was filmed exactly on Seinfeld's apartment according to either Notes About Nothing or the commentary.

Both the streaker sketches are fantastic. I'd say they are as much about fad cash-in movies as well as just shitty movies in general. So many movies follow the frame that Bare Ambition did (many of them fad movies). Streak Dome 97 is just amping up the parody by placing it in another ridiculous genre (late 1960s

Another person that commonly misremembers it as "two jar grind" here.

Mustmayosturdayonnaise is one of the few sketches in Mr. Show that has made me cry from laughing. I remember just rewinding that "Daddy, I'm dying" bit repeatedly and dying every single time.

The ending for this one is terrible
Even as a 10 year old, I didn't believe that scientists could not determine that Homer was a human. It pretty much kills this episode for me.

I'll praise Brooks here for his line about brunch which was not written. If I remember the commentary correctly, someone (Al Jean?) claims that Brooks was more excited to define brunch than anything else from that episode.
