This is true, and something that I think a lot of the intra-liberal conversation misses. If you ask a typical liberal, you'll hear things like "They just want to punish women for having sex!"

Awww, buddy, I sure did!
Well, it's visible from space, so… no.
I consciously took a break from the AV Club for a couple of months — just got super busy at work and at home. But I found that I was much more productive and generally had a better attitude about things.
Well, you DO spend a lot of time at the AV Club, so 'fine' is all relative…
I think Qweef was hypothesizing that, if Dunham had ALREADY had a kid, and said kid saw that quote, then the kid would probably feel that mommy had wished to abort him/her. Which would be awkward.
Jeez, I knew the AV Club couldn't be bargained with, couldn't be reasoned with, didn't feel pity or remorse or fear, but still… poor Teti.
Wait, what happened to Teti? And when was this?
The 'something with Star Trek' was 'Paramount is a big meanie for not letting 'fans' make money off of their own professional feature films.'
Next up: extensive tattoo removal!
I don't think the actor's age matters so much as: 1) what is the character's age?, and 2) can the actor convincingly play that character? I've no idea what ages these characters are supposed to be, but I'd say Pratt can play late 20s (barely) to early 40s without suspending my belief too much.
I think most of his 'action-y' roles have some lightness to them. Certainly movies like The Fugitive and Air Force One aren't wall-to-wall grim and dark.
Sure, it's a phrase. A quick Google search indicates it's a phrase that is used almost exclusively to criticize white people, so…
That would've made Jurassic World only marginally stupider.
1) I never said Katie was being racist.
The trouble with that theory is that Democrats were also expected (based on the polls) to get control of the Senate. But the lost most of the close Senate races.
C'mon! What part of the word "allegations" do you not understand?!?
Harrison Ford? Treating it as a dramatic role? How can you say this, when Starlord is basically Han Solo cast as the lead?
What Lies Beneath did cross my mind when I read this review. A pretty solid, underrated thriller, that one, and Ford used his persona masterfully. (Written by Clark Gregg!)
Is there something about "but they’re also both gorgeous and have great bodies, with great personalities and senses of humor to match" that offsets the gratuitous slam on their skin tone?
