Everyone says comedy is much harder to act than drama, but it often gets dismissed out of hand. For Pratt to effortlessly play a "affable dumb-bro" for so long on P&R, yet still infuse him with depth and vulnerability… that's ACTING, and he's good at it.

"Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence could very well be the ideal couple. Sure, they’re both whiter than Wonder Bread"

    Magneto?

I've like most of what I've read by Humphries. Avengers A.I. was pretty good. Secret Wars: Planet Hulk was completely metal. His Weirdworld, while a step down from Jason Aaron, was still insane in a good way.

    She doesn't scream "hard-nose military-type" to me.

He earned a lot of goodwill from Parks & Rec, so people wanted to see him make it big. Then when he hit the trifecta with GotG, The Lego Movie, and Jurassic World, it was like the local boy made good.

It was fairly telling that his infamous dinner with Mitt Romney did NOT take place at his own restaurant, but rather an actual high-quality one.

Don't forget Russian meddling, FBI malfeasance, and a systematic suppression of minority votes.

TPM has speculated that he hasn't divested himself of his company's holdings because he CAN'T — his businesses are so underwater, and selling them off would cause all of his debts to come due, which he wouldn't be able to handle.

This is true, but an optimistic Superman would've made Batman's hatred for him even MORE out-of-character and irrational.

Did the extended version deal with the fact that the African massacre had an eye-witness (Lois Lane) who could've testified that Superman had nothing to do with it?

Sorry, pretty sure they're repealing the Dream Act.

I heard she deleted some e-mails!

It'd be swell if the AV Club still reviewed The Middle and The Goldbergs, but I guess they decided Will Harris was making too much money.

I know that Trump is a habitual liar, so who knows what is really true. I will note, however, that he claimed to have only been told about the Taiwan call an hour or two before it was made. Given his teenager-style defensive tweet about it ("SHE CALLED ME! What's wrong with that?!?"), I think that's probably true.

I think the "It's a rip-off of AvED" complaints are a bit overblown. Sure, they're both horror-comedies where people fight demons, but so was Buffy…

Of course, if you think that Biden was coming out for it without Obama's explicit agreement and permission, then you're a silly person. And according to Pew, 48% of Americans supported gay marriage in 2012, so not quite a majority. It's still something that could've gone against him in an election year, especially

You left off: The Russians are at fault and targeted both sides, and found damaging material on both sides, but only released material that damaged the Democrats because they wanted Trump to be put into office.

However, you can't really discuss this without discussing the extreme gerrymandering administered by Republican-dominated statehouses. If states had Congressional representation that was proportional to their actual number of Democratic voters, then you'd see a lot more Dems from places like Pennsylvania, Florida,

Yeah, I have no idea why Perry (or whoever else) would want to get rid of it. Like, I understand why they hate the Dept. of Education, and Commerce I… guess… I understand. But this?
