I know that a lot of people here are close to my age, but I'm curious what the age-range here is. Like Marah Eakin, I'm also 33 and Follow That Bird may have also been the first film I saw in the theater but I'm not sure. I certainly rented it enough times as a kid.

When I was a kid, I used to rent Follow That Bird every time we went to the video store. My parents really should have just bought the movie for me. I rewatched it a couple years ago (probably the first time I'd seen it in at least 20 years) and the Bluebird song totally made me cry. Still good after all these years.

I went to an event once that was hosted by Joseph Gordon-Levitt. He played this song as a tribute to his deceased brother (who had loved this song). It was incredibly moving.

I saw the director's cut once and HATED it. Nearly wrecked the entire movie for me. They also added/changed some of the special effects. It all just looked wrong.

The live portion is my favorite part of To Venus and Back. The climax of Cooling is one of my favorite moments which works so well in the echoing auditorium.

I saw her perform Winter live in '99 when she was touring with the band but still had solo moments. That was one of them and she played it in such a tender, sad way. A little bitter slower. It was magic.
