I don't think it's complete crap, but I'm also not as excited about it as I was series one and two. It feels like something (not Robert Sheehan) is missing. I've not been as invested in their stories this series.

Just finished watching episode three and didn't think to look here until now to see if someone's starting to talk about the new series.

I was hoping they'd talk about "Penitent" since it's on Vol. 3, and one of two reasons I love "Songs in Red and Gray". (The second being "Soap and Water".)

She's more than Shadoe Stevens' daughter.

I say, "no."

Okay, I have to respond to the first part of your message because the show explains why each household has stay-at-home parents. (And, as a side note, I've worked with several men whose wives stay at home and they're pretty well off so it's not that antiquated a concept. And yes, I realize how unfortunate that

I'm surprised to see Kayla ranked low, if she made it on anyone's rankings. I think she's one of the strongest "models" there. I don't think Lisa, Dominique or Angelea have a chance at all. They'll start to look old (worn out in Lisa's case, yikes. Aging is not going to be kind to her.) or mannish or both after a few

Even after reading Carrie's review, I was not prepared for the awfulness of that green screen. I wouldn't be surprised if that's the reason why CBS passed on the show.

No, you're right. The "Gossip Girl" pilot was very good. I never watched another episode of "Nikita" because of the horrible pilot, and I couldn't watch "90210" after the first season finale. Even though I heard it became good in an awful, crazy kind of way.

Okay, I'm probably going to come off as one of those crazed Buffy fans, but…

It's funny you mention the credits sequence. I miss the way they incorporated the beginning of the song in the last few seconds of the opening before the credits in these last few episodes.

I don't remember anything missing. If any scenes were cut, they weren't essential.

I agree. I think we all know the jokes or one liners, which are covered in the stray observations, by heart, and many have seen the show several times through so I wouldn't have read these if it was just a "here's what happened" recap. I appreciate Todd's perspective and approach much better.

I know what you mean. I wonder if it comes off like I don't like "Misfits" because of my gripes with how they handled time travel, but it's *because* I like the show so much the fact that they got some parts seemingly so wrong bothers me to no end.

Say no more. I'm trying so hard not to complain about the inconsistencies for at least one episode, but you're making it so darn difficult.

Or Foals' "Spanish Sahara" when Simon and Alisha, um, copulated.

"Technically, it was a gorilla."

I see where you're coming from. But I agree with @avclub-73a427badebe0e32caa2e1fc7530b7f3:disqus . The presentation is different, but definitely not kneecapping.

I'm guessing you're just being a contrarian, but the end of #11's first episode (season 5, episode 1) when he's introducing himself to the Atraxi was what sold me on Matt Smith. That scene has gravitas in spades.

I wonder if a lot of the complaints (I have some, but none get in the way of my enjoyment of the show) will be minimized once the season wraps up. It's hard to judge the show episode to episode because it feels like Moffat is building an epic story that will pay off at the end. Or at least I hope it'll pay off in the
