On the day that Willie passes on to jam with Waylon again in Outlaw Heaven, I imagine my hometown of Austin will be consumed in a flood of tears. Willie is like a religion here.

"ElDan was a real quiet guy, kept to himself, mostly."

The correct answer is Flash Gordon-era Timothy Dalton.

Well, I thought that was a given. That movie pisses me off, but I was a teen in the 90's so I saw it a lot. Obviously more times than Amelie.

Yeah, I know she doesn't care and hasn't forever. But it's still fun after all these years to point out how half-assed she is about this whole thing.

Um, did anyone mention yet to Amelie that Cary Elwes was not in Empire Records? Because that was Maxwell Caulfield as Rex Manning.

MOOLTIPASS!

When I was a kid, my family had a tradition of going out to see a movie on Christmas Eve. In December of '86, it was this movie. My favorite part as a kid, which I reenacted many times with my brother, was Steve Martin's "Look up here!" gag.

Because I am stupid, I watched Inglourious Basterds twice before I realized that it was not Jennifer Jason Leigh playing Bridget von Hammersmark. She and Diane Kruger do look remarkably similar, and I guess I am not the first one to feel this way:

Stench? Of what speakest thou? The air is sweet, and fragrant!

Sad songs are nature's onions.

Welcome to the joke!

Is there something wrong with me that I read the description and thought, "Wow, I'll bet this is going to be good!" I mean, sure, after watching about 20 seconds of it, I knew it was complete crap, but still, why would my initial reaction be positive?

I maintain that "These Arms of Mine" is the greatest love song ever made. The rhythm, the instrumentation, the delivery, everything. Just perfect.

And where were you on the day that plane went down, Abbies Dad? Huh?

I guess I just don't get how John Mayer, Jason Mraz, and/or Train minus subtlety and "the Americana perspective" equals Roy Orbison.

John Mayer, Jason Mraz and Train are pretty much the pioneers of
douchebag acoustic rock music. Imagine Roy Orbison without the subtlety or the Americana perspective.

CB Club? Aw crap! I thought this was the VD Club!
