I just felt like they were such clunky characters that could have been really cool. Their dialogue and interactions were so stilted and stiff. It was weird. That said, them dieing so ignominiously after being touted as incredible warriors also sucked. It was hamfisted all around.

I was shocked that no one shouted "Sails!" from up top. Sure their sails were dark but they have mass that could be spotted against the sky.

Aw man I just finished watching the whole thing on Hulu and came over here to see the reviews and mull over things and you guys only did season 1? Dang. It was really great! You missed out.

What I really liked about this was that I could get emotionally involved in this story without having to refer back to other iterations/canons/ expanded universes type catalogs.
