He had the mushroom trip vibe down. Made me want to do some hallucinogens! The strange simple platitudes, the actions that seem to mean everything like that rubberband. Maybe not enough nonsensical giggling… le sigh.
Also, did Alex know he was tripping? Because Brett was exactly where he needed to be and going back to

AAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!! EEEEEEE!! OOOO!!! I'm just vowelish at this finale, it was so good.

so good!

you fridged Tripp, you assholes!

I'm so frikken excited for this. Even my brother (who's usually in car chase and explody movies) loves it and will stop flipping through channels when he lands on one playing the first one.
Why he still flips through channels when we have on demand and a dvr is a mystery to me….

I love this show. And I seem to be Team whichever one is on screen at the moment.
Between this and Outlander I have a lot of Teams to fantasize about…I mean not _teams_… ha HA! ::blushes and runs away::

watching again and wanted to say that holy crap if I was gifted that dragonfly in amber I'd lose my shit. how cool was that??

yeah I really like participating here and it sucks when people aren't clear about their spoilers or answer an obvious non-book reader comment with a reply that starts out "in the books". It's getting too confusing!

I was like "that's what she said" and then Rupert basically says that and I laughed. I'm juvenile.
And her eye roll rivaled a Liz Lemon eye roll.

Did anyone notice the Murtagh said that ("I'm getting too old for this") at the Gathering? I totally think that's a nod to Murtaugh of Lethal Weapon. Sorry… continue with your conversation I'm not actually reading because of spoilers…. :)

that too, I guess. Poor choice of words… Or the best choice?

but so jazzed about it!

absolutely.
Sam Heughan pulls off seeming much younger than her and there's a look that he gets that reminds me of a guy I had a relationship with. We had the same age difference as the characters (I think I was a couple years older that she) and Jamie keeps reminding me of him in these gazes that he does and like

Also! Rupert's waterhorse story was mesmerizing in the cadence of his voice.I can totally imagine being curled up in front of the fire and just drifting off while he was spinning that yarn… Really I just want it to go to sleep to.

Well, I don't want to know exactly :) … it just occurred to me after my eye rolling that it's not like he sweeps in on a rope and scoops her up and they escape. They're still in a spot of bother.

I like both characters so much for different reasons! It's great. I love Jamie's utter guilelessness and youth contrasted with Frank's sophistication and experience.
I'm glad we got to see more of Frank's side this episode and more than there was in the books apparently.

Well, she did stab that dude, that was cool.
She obviously wasn't thinking that clearly when she ran to the rocks, but that makes sense…
I still don't know how they're actually going to get out of it… He's just going to shoot Randall in the face?

I really really _really_ wanted her to get away with that spy gambit, man. That would have been incredible.
That last image of Jamie saving the day! (very swashbuckle-y!) made me kinda roll my eyes but on the other hand I didn't see what else _could_ happen… well I wouldn't want to see what was actually about to

I hope so! It's worth it. maybe in the hiatus the followers will grow… wait— is that why they do this half and half thing? Cuz it makes me crazy to call it one season if we don't get it all at once. It's like the hobbit meals of television.
Wait now I think I've convinced myself out of my original point.
Elevenses for

I wonder if that would really divide the commenters too much, though and that's why that hasn't happened. I mean 300+ comments is pretty good but no GOT level comments section…
