I got to episode 9 and every minute was torture.  I really wanted to like this show, but between the shitty dialogue and the static camerawork and the boring sets (all things that I knew wouldn't change once the plot actually started), I just decided life was too short.

On the back, back, back burner of my "to do" list is acquire the episodes of this show that never aired in the US.

When MGM reissued all the Bond DVDs around 2000, they were very crafty about putting the coolest special features that applied to the whole franchise on the most minor Bond movies. But I still think OHMSS might have that designation unfairly.

It's been years since I've seen it, but I recall that as one of the better Bond movies, honestly.  Lazenby wasn't good, but the movie itself has to be more watchable than the silly Roger Moore ones, right?

Try some that don't do guests at all, like Uhh Yeah Dude or My Brother My Brother and Me.  I had the same problems as you and settled on guest-less ones as my favorites.

Is there a TV series out there that needs a movie follow-up less than FNL?

She should do what she wants with her show, and fuck the Internet if they (sigh, we) don't like it. Doing things like this to appease people is the road straight into mediocrity.

Yeesh, that video. I love Dio, but I've never seen/heard a live performance of his that lived up to the albums.

I kept expecting one of the brothers to mention how expensive it is to become a Magic person.  That seems like a much more practical barrier than "it won't help you get babes." My Magic-related shame is that I can't afford to get into something I think I'd like.

I didn't really understand the argument about nerd shame on MBMBAM.  Justin seemed to be saying that it's okay to consider some things too nerdy/embarrasing to even approach, whereas Griffin first argued that you shouldn't care what other people think, but then switched to 'try everything, because you never know what
