You keep bagging on a Dads and trumpeting false information. It was the most watched FOX Tuesday show in terms of total viewers and right there in the demo last airing. Beyond those weak numbers the show is hilarious, a straight-up joke sitcom and since the AV Club is full of writers who think "no serialization = no…
Deserves an A just for "Antoine Bugleboy" lol
More testicles means more iron.
I guess I'll be the one…
Song rules, you suck.
The show is far from perfect but Spader is awesome as always and I find the ridiculousness entertaining. You guys need to stay true to your policy of having people who like a show cover it and find a new writer for these recaps.
C'mon the legal machinations are one of the reasons this show is so good, they're always more than sort of entertaining. The only reason this one wasn't an A for me was not enough Will and Diane. Great layered busy episode, The Good Wife firing on all cylinders.
I agree with most of the previous posters, really fun ep, awesome Neil Diamond, great Penny denouement.

Awesome write-up, thanks so much.
See when I heard "new aliens" I thought another group would show up saying "the Volm said they were gonna help us instead they ate our babies" and then there'd be a three-way fight until the next season and another group comes and we find out its all some real weird sport and Earth was this season's home field but no…
"Frell! Frell! Frell! Frell! Frell!"
The only problem, Alasdair, is the write-up isn't long enough!!! lol
Given the AV Club's love of shows about scumbags it's no wonder these write-ups are enamored with Suits season two whereas many fans of the first season (minus the ridiculousness of the premise) like myself have no clue why the fun interplay between Harvey and Mike with a pinch of Lewis shenanigans and some…
HOPEFULLY VAGUE SPOILERS
Only kicked out of two colleges? What a lightweight, compared to me being kicked out of three. That's when you know you've arrived!
The Governor did give his daughter the contacts, you see her taking them off just before Eric appears at the window. The stranger thing is that they don't have silver handcuffs at the ready to slap on Eric and how they react to his flying (which is I guess the cheat for why the daughter feels safe to take the contacts…
The only thing comparable to "Nazi Supermen Are Our Superiors" I've ever heard was Eric Idle's interview about "The Life of Brian" where he said the early title based on a different idea was "Jesus Christ: Lust for Glory".
There is one sad takeaway from the fight for Itchy and Scratchy: they would eventually cave to a moratorium on naked cartoon ass.
