The Halo 2/3 combo are the peak of the Chief series. 1 is unsurprisingly sparse given the state of the art at the time, and 4 and 5 are…well, they're there. But Reach and ODST are better than any of them, and unfortunately they aren't included in the MCC.

I still play H5. The multiplayer is pretty good, but this is the first Halo game where I have no intention of playing through the campaign again.
