"They want dope on the table."

Man I felt the same way, and I wish I could forget that feeling. When I listen to SY now, I sometimes skip past the Moore-sung songs because I can't detach it from his persona in my head.

Agreed.  80s slobs don't have the elitism or self-righteousness to be compared with hipsters.

It's a requirement of the Americans with Disabilities Act.  ATMs also are required to have a microphone jack and voice response capability.

And if Crom does not laugh, to hell with him!

And like Nancy Grace, she makes herself part of the story. On her Dugard special the camera spent as much time on Diane Sawyer and her "compassionate" facial expressions as it did on the actual subjects of the story.

I was going to post something to the effect of how much I related to May but I was afraid I would be the only one to say that and creep people out. I know, meta and all that.

I also loved how his prep/jock friends thought it was cool when they all looked at regular porn (i.e. Playboy bimbos) shocked and disgusted when he showed him the S&M stuff he found (i.e. Playboy bimbos in leather).

The martial arts beatdown is one of my favorite Crazy Joe moments too. We're expecting him to be some timid loser, and though the scene is played straight, the shattering of our expectations makes it hilarious.

La Pipe: I think you nailed it on the contrast. It's also what made Bell's performance memorable.

It is by will alone that I set my first in motion.

sarCCastro - No you aren't! One of my favorite shows of all time. A little short on action and sometimes the plots were weak, but I think they made up for it with the character arcs, acting, themes, and psychological atmosphere. I can understand that it's just not a show for everybody. I don't mean that in a
