I usually enjoy your posts Jorge, but I have to disagree with you here.

Please don't lump libertarians in with Bush administration guys or conservative groups. Yes, they are unapologetically for capitalism, but they're also socially liberal and very pro-civil liberties, so Ashcroft is one of their biggest enemies.
Mission…accomplished.
That website is AWESOME.
That's kind of what I was trying to get across, but you articulated it much better, Aler - thank you. And that is WHY I love the character moments and the emotional arcs and what it might be without them.
Should have put my earlier comment down here:
Have they been 100% clear on whether the actives are volunteers or not? The first scene showed a signup process, but I don't remember if they specified exactly how much the actives know about what they'll be doing.
I didn't quite get "creepy" out of it. My wife was crying beside me over that scene. I found it kind of sweet but more sad than anything.
I LOVE the character moments on this show, endless repetitive actions scenes would be boring - but I agree we need some more action. It would give the character moments on this show more dramatic weight if nothing else.
In the old Dark Horse comics they always referred to them as "junk."
Hamilton vs. Headey
I've always thought this show's Sarah Connor is supposed to be a much different character than the movies. The experiences of the first two movies have numbed her - somebody linked to a writer's blog last week that mentioned her character arc was becoming more like a Terminator in order to do her…
Blame the marketing
Lost count of how many times I've read the comic, but I was worried about some kind of mass disappointment, walk-outs or not. This was advertised as an action movie.
zap-BANG!
I hate to bring up firearms again this week after the Glock safety discussion, but wouldn't Sarah being zapped by a taser with her finger on the trigger of her gun make it go off? Even if the muscles didn't contract that way, it seems like the spastic convulsions Sarah was experiencing would have.
invasive spying phones
That's what you get when you buy a cellphone from WayneTech.
Can't speak for Seinfeld, but the introductory principles of Scientology - get over your bad memories and you'll be a stronger person - aren't bad, so if that's what he's talking about I'll cut him some slack. But then there's the auditing and those weird machines that don't do anything. And the money. And Xemu. …
…cause you're living in FUCK CITY.
And THAT'S why you always leave a note.
That looks just like our house…
ba - Safeties were originally designed to prevent guns from going off when dropped, and one of the internal safeties is the drop safety. And when I say "committed" I mean you can't slightly touch the trigger and have it go off.
the safety on a Glock
A Glock (the model 17 seems to be the official handgun of the show) actually has a safety built into the trigger (as well as 2 internal ones). As long as the trigger is fully forward, technically the trigger safety is on, although it only takes a committed trigger pull to fire as long as a round…
