I will not go the barricades to defend The Cleveland Show but I will admit that it's a better show than Family Guy these days. Although that compliment is so backhanded, it's practically a bitch slap.

What they do have is one of the most unimpressive lesbian kisses in the history of cinema. It was like a mother and daughter pecking kiss, Trachtenberg came across as if she really did not want to be there. You think that she could have called Amber Benson or Alyson Hannigan for some pointers.
Geena Davis is very good in this film and she's very convincing as a bad ass action heroine. But Samuel L Jackson steals the show as a sleazy PI with a heart of gold. It's the kind of performance that reminds you what a fun presence he was before he became a caricature of himself.
