I think my problem is that they are self serving in a misguided/unstrategic way. Like, I do admit that it was really entertaining when NaOnka stole Fabio's socks for no goddamn reason, but that was also what drove me crazy about her. What did that get her in the long run, other than pissing off Fabio? Same thing goes

Hey @Loki100:disqus /@avclub-b62a8937e3279853ee5b66cf76558278:disqus I had nothing to do on my crazy friday night, so I already got to the merge in Survivor:25. Here are some stray thoughts:

Oh god, yall. I haven't watched this show since their sweeps episode last year, and all it took was a mention of Santana and Quinn to get me back.

What a great episode this was. I would feel comfortable putting it up there with the best work this show has done. Maybe it was that Robin Sparkles energy, but It actually felt pretty fresh, and even before it was revealed that she would play a significant part.  In fact, I'd say this episode had a kind of comedic

Ya know what is phenomenal about this show? It is one of the few things I have seen that I can wholeheartedly recommend without any qualifiers. Even the seasons that are considered less than perfect still had plenty to offer, and this last season was truly one of it's best. Was every episode of this perfect? No, of

This was a show I truly loved, I just can't imagine it ending any other way. This show gave me seven wonderful years. It changed how I looked at televised comedy. It gave me a role model in Tina Fey, and it gave me so many laughs. Thank you 30 Rock, thank you Tina, and thank you NBC for giving this show an opportunity

AND SO IT BEGINS.

Eh, I wasn't totally thrilled with the Brad and Jane plot (although I agree that the scene of them angry flirting was amazing).

Why didn't I get it?!?!

Can you Photoshop your life with better decisions, Jerry?

I would argue the worst character on Voyager is every character on Voyager, but I honestly liked 7of9 for non-fanservice-y reasons. Like The Doctor, she was a deadpan snarker and that gave the impression that they thought the other characters were just as obnoxious as the audience did.

If we're talking hatable characters in the Buffyverse, what about Riley and Connor too? I don't hate Connor with the same passion as a lot of Angel fans, but I don't think I dislike any character on either show as much as Riley. Not even Dawn. I can't believe I watched an episode in which Buffy and Riley

Has no one mentioned WESLEY CRUSHER yet?

Talk about wishful thinking…

Yea, I should have said that The Magnetic Fields would just be the kind of band that might be ill suited for a TV performance because of how low-key their shows tend do be. I haven't been able to see them live yet, but they're  at the  top of my "bands I have to see before I die" list. Also, I am so fricking excited

I also got a kick out of Jess's song being in the key of "learning minor", but then, I'm a music nerd who has written songs about Greek mythology.

And naturally, the Cosby sketch isn't on Hulu now that I want to see it again.

and I'm jello, baby.

@dowd

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say "Taran Killam", but I'd worry Update would take him away from other sketches, and if he was bad, it'd make me like him less.
