I think my problem is that they are self serving in a misguided/unstrategic way. This was a show I truly loved, I just can't imagine it ending any other way. This show gave me seven wonderful years. It changed how I looked at televised comedy. I would argue the worst character on Voyager is every character on Voyager, but I honestly liked 7of9 for non-fanservice-y reasons. Like The Doctor, she was a deadpan snarker and that gave the impression that they thought the other characters were just as obnoxious as the audience did.

If we're talking hatable characters in the Buffyverse, what about Riley and Connor too? I don't hate Connor with the same passion as a lot of Angel fans, but I don't think I dislike any character on either show as much as Riley. Not even Dawn. Yea, I should have said that The Magnetic Fields would just be the kind of band that might be ill suited for a TV performance because of how low-key their shows tend do be. I haven't been able to see them live yet, but they're  at the  top of my "bands I have to see before I die" list. Also, I am so fricking excited…

I also got a kick out of Jess's song being in the key of "learning minor", but then, I'm a music nerd who has written songs about Greek mythology.

And naturally, the Cosby sketch isn't on Hulu now that I want to see it again.
