He doesn't state in the interview or anything that *he's* going to keep running the show - he's asked about the tenth anniversary of the reboot and he responds that he thinks it [that is, the show] can last fifteen years! or…

Yeah, so I'm not seeing where in the linked article he says he's even staying beyond this season. He just states that the show "could do a minimum of fifteen [years]." He adds that it's not easy to do the show, but it can be done. That's all.
