This is pretty much how I felt about the episode (although I did think the last line of the end bit ["please don't tell your mother!'] was hilarious [since Ryan's tone totally changed], but that's mostly because it plays to Matthew Perry's strengths). I don't know…it might be deliciously fun if we learn that the Americon Initiative (man, that is a terrible name!) is actually somehow Takeda's revenge school. But I do hope that the show doesn't get bogged down with a really in-depth mythology and forgets the revenging.
