Not to mention the muzak version of "With a Little Help from My Friends" playing in the elevator right after John Goodman comes by to get him high.

Great song, I agree.  Just not sure any of it is about being on government assistance at all.

Maybe they just want to take Blu Ivy to Hershey park. Turn the tour into a summer vacation.  Why not?

Hershey is a very curious choice.  Maybe that'll get switch to Pittsburgh or DC or something.

@avclub-b0dae075785888267fc19871f3e7dab7:disqus That's always baffled me and it's done way too often.  Same with antiviolence songs but ONLY in rap.  I think Jay-Z has a line in H to the Izzo where he says he hope other people don't have to go through selling drugs like he did and they edit it out.  I also remember

Jeremy sounds like a dark song though.  This sounds happy and poppy and I believe that would be the distinction.

The bleeps in the radio version of What It's Like are out of control.

I would put Houdini in there as well.  Pretty good album.

Agreed.  And I think it would be a better read to hear someone take on a shitty Beatles song in this feature than a shitty Black Eyed Peas song.  There's a lot more that can be said about bad songs by great bands than "It was on all the time and it's stupid".

It'd be a more interesting read than why someone hates trash though wouldnt it?

Oops, I just did that before reading your comment.  But yeah, in this instance this feature is pretty redundant.

I love Eugene Mirman but the only thing this really accomplished for me was getting that song stuck in my head.  Picking a Black Eyed Peas song for this feature is like picking Nickleback as a band to hate or Two and a Half Men as a show to hate; its just too easy.

"That's why I'm filming the next Hobbit movie in Russia"

@E.Buzz Miller .  Isn't that what YouTube is for now though?  Delete away.

Gosling wasn't in Crash, was he?

Kinda wish this wasn't posted until after the episode aired so we could avoid having this skew our perceptions.

Wham! and Panic! At The Disco would like a word with you.

If you have HBO on demand, watch girls and especially the "Inside Look" (or whatever it's called) with Dunham discussing the episode.  They're only about 5 minutes long but they make it pretty clear that she is a much different (better) person than the Hannah character.

I agree with 99% of your statement except that I would consider Asshole a card drinking game that I do want to win.

I prove how serious I am at drinking by winning all the games.
