Finally saw this for the first time over the weekend (I was ashamed I never had before) and was blown away. Everything was so well done and holds up extremely well. Can't wait to see it again, might end up one of my all time favorites.

*SPOILERS FOR SAVAGES*

I was too until I saw Savages.  Now the whole genre is ruined for me.

That's awesome.  I've heard great things about Tough Mudder and there's one coming to the Pittsburgh area this summer so I might have to sign up.  Depends on how I feel in a few weeks though because I'm about 11 days away from running in my first full Marathon!  I should finish somewhere between 4-4:30 but I'm not too

I enjoyed this.  I thought it was a fun neo-noir complete with a strong femme fatale.  Though I must say that I don't think the plot hole suggested by Tasha was the biggest one.  For me it had to be the idea that this girl went missing and yet her car that has been in the parking garage with security cameras for weeks

I thought Frank just handed Simon a list of Hypnotists in London and told him to choose.  He choose Elizabeth Lamb because "he liked her name" but subconsciously it was because he was obsessed with her.

I feel like I've been seeing "(Popular thing) is the Call of Duty of ______" a lot lately.

It worked for My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

@twitter-499832989:disqus I've been fortunate enough to have never even heard of that.  I'll consider myself lucky that it hasn't permeated pop culture the way Tosh has.

Fair enough. Good thing I don't give a fuck what comics look like if its not part of their routine.  I feel the same way about musicians by the way.

Not sure why I see so many people on here labeling him as a "bro" comic in the vein of Dane Cook and Daniel Tosh.  I can see how a lot of his stuff might appeal to that crowd but from this interview and others he really doesn't seem that douchey out of character.  He is also typically a very good guest on Doug Loves

If I lived back in the Wild West days, instead of carrying a six-gun in my holster, I'd carry a soldering iron. That way, if some smart-aleck cowboy said something like, "Hey look. He's carrying a soldering iron!" and started laughing, and everybody else started laughing, I could just say, "That's right, it's a

You knew multiplatinum recording artists, 5x SNL hosts and popular actors in High School?  Impressive.

I assume that by "exact same birthday" @avclub-6dafab5f86d9e5f32ba9ce303d86098f:disqus meant same year as well.  So depending on your age you still might have time to accomplish what those people have done.  Watch out Albert Einstein!!

Agreed.  In movies I would add Goodfellas and Jaws as well.

Not to mention HBO which has probably done more for stand up comedy and inventive sitcoms than anyone else, including Comedy Central.

Jesus Christ his comment on that review came off as incredibly petty.  The review wasn't even that negative.

Damn, I had no idea there was a "point" to the comment section.  Could @avclub-f41c98ac606e9b29fce2d59f71df434d:disqus or @avclub-ea9f8af74617d1b0e067f75ebcbaf515:disqus please post a link to the rules so I know what opinions/critical viewpoints/jokes/snark and can or cannot post?

Since the Reasonable Discussions podcast isn't really a thing anymore, I'm surprised Podmass hasn't expanded to more film discussion podcasts.  I would love to see things like Filmspotting, Filmspotting SVU, The Film Vault, and /Filmcast get a write up each week.  I wonder if Podmass is trying to stick more strictly

Not to mention the muzak version of "With a Little Help from My Friends" playing in the elevator right after John Goodman comes by to get him high.
