@avclub-a43012a332fc066e7ecf57a9b678fb51:disqus Obviously they're both great and Tupac isn't forgotten about and won't be.  But if you want to claim that their current influence is intangible and record sales are the most relevant argument as to who is more popular you might want to rethink that one.  In the best

@DavidBacon:disqus If you're of the camp that Biggie knew about the shooting beforehand (I'm not because there is no evidence besides Pac claiming it, and he was clearly a somewhat paranoid person), then I will give it to you that the beef with Bad Boy was not petty.  However, notice that I said "petty beefs" and his

@avclub-a43012a332fc066e7ecf57a9b678fb51:disqus Why would you compare the sales of Ready to Die and All Eyez on Me?  Wouldn't it make more sense to compare Ready to Die and 2pacalypse Now (debut albums of which RTD sold wayyy more) or Life After Death and All Eyez on Me (both double albums at the peak of their

"In 2003, producer and Tupac super-fan Eminem—who has also “collaborated” with Pac as both a rapper and producer—engineered a ghostly truce between Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G. (a rival Tupac called a “fat motherfucker” on “Hit Em’ Up,” a dis track where he also claimed to have “fucked” B.I.G.’s wife Faith Evans)

I would ask what hair metal band had the technical proficiency in rock music that Biggie had in rhyming?  His cadence, diction, flow, and storytelling ability is rivaled by few.  The fact that he could put it all together in one package and make music that could be pretty hardcore (Gimme The Loot) and mainstream pop

The correct answer was guessed more than once…

I have a friend who works on Chelsea Lately who absolutely raves about Chelsea Handler the person.  Chelsea apparently often goes well out of her way to do nice things for people, take staff members on trips, hangs out with people she works with no matter how low on the totem pole they are, and just makes everyone

@avclub-5cddb7f7763759b51382cce18d9c02cf:disqus Fair enough.  Very well reasoned.  I guess what I like about Nolan's Batman films is that they provide a nice medium between the serious crime movies I tend to like and the sillier (but sometimes fun) superhero movies.  Iron Man does that to a certain extent too but also

Maybe declaring Iron Man the apex was what hampered your enjoyment of The Dark Knight.  You may have just been a couple months premature.

@avclub-e57f718840a576abbb40a7d046c4e3b0:disqus Depending on the city, you can get a good DSL internet connection from Verizon.  It's not quite as fast as cable but I stream everything and never have problems.  Sometimes the quality will drop down a notch for a minute but that's about it.

Wow.  Wouldn't that render Hulu obsolete?

Is it weird that in my head I read all of your comments in Abed's voice?

Isn't that part of the genius of it?  Just like how he was describing Andy's act as the audience could never figure out which parts were real and which weren't.

I feel like those stories were TOO crazy to make up (similar to a lot of Bert Kreischer's stories).  I've probably listen to 95% of the WTFs and the Zmuda episode might now be my favorite. What a fantastic listen.

Haha been reading and commenting on the AV Club for a while now but I see your point.  Yeah people definitely go all out either positively (Community) or negatively (most other things) on here, but what I meant to say was that I'm surprised a new SBC movie would fall so squarely on the negative end.

Wow everyone is so negative about this already assuming it's going to be terrible.  It's as if the exact same thing didn't happen a month ago with 21 Jump Street (turned out much better than the trailers).  Also, aside from Bruno why has everyone decided that SBC is shit all of the sudden?  I didn't think the preview

…because I shop at Eddie Bauer"  - Stephen Colbert

@belgand:disqus I'll respond depsite your ridiculously condescending post… You're right, Hulu is worse than cable if you ignore one very key fact, the price (therefore value).  When I had HD cable with 2 DVRs I was paying $160 a month to Comcast for cable/internet.  I cancelled it all and now pay $35 for Verizon

I think in the end they were saying that neither planted the evidence, but that the co-counsel was careless with it and it was under his area of responsibility.  Therefore the Judge couldn't really be held accountable.

@avclub-9c75bab0f5d964591655e73e7c22c540:disqus Thank you!  All I could think about was The Vanishing, especially when he picks up her sunglasses from the parking lot. It gave a great sense of foreboding during that entire segment.
