So, when these episodes of "Pushing Daisies" eventually hit the internet, will Genevieve review them or not?

Yes, "Dead Like Me" was actually created by the same guy as "Pushing Daisies", Brian Fuller.
Goddamn this new format's lack of word wrap.
I distinctly remember a promotional photo the band did with Bilinda
wielding a meat cleaver. In fact, I believe it's the default picture for the band
on last.fm.

The icing on the cake for this episode was right at the end of the episode, there was an ad for NBC's Andy & Angela's Wedding website. Now, this website has been around for most the season. but at the end of this particular episode? hilarious.
Hey! Wow!
I can now express my love for Blur's excellent "Modern Life is Rubbish" record in avatar form! (as opposed to the other nine million websites I post on. Those I express my love for (among other things) Carhenge, Wire's "Pink Flag" and optical illusions).
Awww
This makes me sad (Ricardo Montalban, meh. But as I said before, I got points in a Celebrity Dead Pool thing. Now all I need is Buzz Aldrin, Soupy Sales and JD Salinger to die and Gerry Rafferty - missing since the fall - to be declared legally dead, and I get them all this year). I love "The Prisoner". But now…
hey!
he was in my Celebrity Dead Pool picks! i get points!
What Ruined my Week
"Electronic Gaming Monthly" ceases publication without even a proper goodbye to the fans that have loved it for 19 1/2 years because of some crazy deal between Ziff Davis and Hearst resulting in the former company pretty much selling off the magazine's whole staff to Hearst. Those that don't get…
this is all well and good
but where is Cheap Toy Roundup 2008?

This was a great album. Not the best of the year, but up there. Definitely Top 10 material. And "A Sky for Shoeing Horses Under" is almost certainly in the Top 5 of best songs of the year.
shit, I forgot about "Daysleeper"…and "At My Most Beautiful" sounds pretty REM.
I brought up the Laura Marling album first, but hey, if this gets Noel's attention…
I Thought the whole Black Kids backlash was hilarious. The hype was created by Pitchfork Media with their glowing review for "Wizard of Aaahs" and the backlash started with their cop-out, low rating review of "Partie Traumatic".
Yes. The big thing on that record was that they finally got around to releasing a single that sounded like an R.E.M. song ("Supernatural Superserious") for the first time since "What's the Frequency, Kenneth?". Although "All the Way to Reno" came close, "Supernatural Superserious" was an unmistakable R.E.M. song.
Well. Then.
Well this is my last comment here. I'm pretty happy that I stayed with this throughout. It was a great feature and I hope something more happens with it (a book?)
also, as pointed out before, eclipses only last about 3-5 minutes, not 120 (or as, it seems - what with pacing and all, the whole day).
How This Show Is Once Again, Insulting My Intelligence
Wait, so am I to believe that, in the course of a two year (or whatever) time period, there will be TWO solar eclipses in North America? Visible in both Haiti and California? Is that even scientifically possible?
Like I said, maybe someone can bring back "This Was Pop". Man, I'm going to miss Popless, though. Maybe it could be expanded into a book…hmm…
