I'm OK with that, but last year's episode (which presumably happened a year before this year) had them actually forgetting Mother's Day. This year the joke was they just pretended to forget Mother's Day every year when last year suggested they actually did forget and always came up with last minute "coupon" presents.

Has the Speechless family gone to a Disney theme park yet?

Yeah just look at the first JJ Abram's Star Trek movie. Seemed OK at first when Spock met Spock, but then we got the sequels.

I'm just worried that the villain will get a copy of James Burke's Connections and go after easier targets that still have a profound impact. Do all time travel shows have to involve stopping Presidents getting killed or trying to kill Hitler?

Well, it's hard to ignore Monolith Monsters whenever it's on.

Well, Vinnie Jones was in it. Marvel used to have a guest spot with Spider-Man when they were trying to get a new comic book started. I like to think Vinnie Jones serves the same purpose. You hire him as the villain of the week. When the hero manages to defeat him, they look a lot better.

As we learned from the Twilight Zone, the bad place doesn't seem so bad at first. Only after you get tired of it does Sebastian Cabot laugh at you.

The St. Peter Principle?

Christianity only got about 5% right. St. Paul was no Doug Forcett.

Two CSIs. He was on CSI unadulterated and then jumped to CSI: Cyber after CSI was cancelled. I hope he isn't becoming Ted McGinley.

The appearance of Simon Templeman reminded me of Neighbors. In some better world, Neighbors is still on and Modern Family was cancelled.

Judd Hirsch is a national treasure.

But was Phil made more affective/knowledgeable to boost the credibility of the ads?

In the 80s, it was Carnegie-Mellon. They didn't get rid of the hyphen until the end of decade.

That's not much of a joke. There was nothing really funny about the whole subplot. It was more of time filler to give the four characters something to do for the episode.

Can anyone explain the escape room? They hired two actors, built a set, came up with one poor riddle and the only joke was something about not leaving a bad review on Yelp? (OK, Raj commenting about clean underwear. But I prefer to forget about that.)

I kept waiting for him to sit up ala a 70s horror film monster (or the WWE's Undertaker) but if they're going to do it, it may take place offscreen with him turning up later. He gets his own little supplicant in Agent May-Lite. (What is with this show giving its actresses two roles to play? Waiting for the two Bobbis.)

The line about "meet exciting unusual people and then kill them" was a popular shirt in the 70s. Instead of the SHIELD, it was the British army.

Bobbi and Mack work for M.O.D.O.K.? But I thought Patton Oswalt was M.O.D.O.K.!

Raffles has really let himself go. I wonder what's happened to Bunny.
